I like to review this knife set because I think this is a high quality made knife and I want others to know about it and try it. I have kids so I want to find knife set that have wooden block to keep it safe away from my kids. This knife set comes with what I want. It is made of high carbon stainless steel. The set includes 5 sharp knifes, knife sharpener and a nice wooden knife block to keep the knifes nice and clean and lastly a scissor. The scissor is multi-functional, it is very sharp and vey useful tool in the kitchen. I have been looking for knife set that has a wooden block that is not too big. This wooden block size is tight for me. It doesn't take too much my ktichen space and look really nice in my kitchen too. My favorite is the chef knife. I use it often to cut meat in thin slices. I love these knives. They’re great quality, very sharp, fit the hand well and look very high end. Just don’t try to get warranty replacement blades. A week after I got them I knicked my finger and - knee-jerk reaction - dropped the blade and broke the tip off my chef’s knife. The Amazon listing and box both say “lifetime warranty” So I figured I was in good hands. When I got to the company’s website trying to find warranty info was - A NIGHTMARE. When I did finally find the warranty page it just talks about the warranty with no email address, phone number, live chat, etc for claims - just that there IS a warranty, apparently, somewhere. I ended up emailing every email for the company I could find sending my information and my situation and asking for assistance - that was New Year’s Day. As of writing this I haven’t heard a word from them. I know dropping it is my fault, even if it was impulse. But an email back from anyone with a link to something - anything - but nothing? That’s sketchy. For the price, I expected something better I suppose. Anyways, that’s why I give a three-star over all. They’re fantastic quality knives, just don’t every think you actually have a warranty on them. Cheers. ... show more

I liked the look of these knives and they worked fine for a short time. But now the knives are loose in the Tang. I wish I could return them since I paid quite a bit for them.

Well balance and sharpness out of box, nice smaller holding block.. I don't think blades will last very long sharp. Very lightweight might not be very durable in the long run.. A little over priced 10-28-19 Update: After about 3 weeks of use, The smaller utility knife has become dull enough to NOT be able to slice a tomato and scissors fell apart at middle . I know this kit comes with a sharpener, but I feel like I shouldn't have to sharpen after 3 weeks of mild use.. Will reach out to customer service and update review after.. Update 11-1-19 After contacting Customer service they were very quick to respond to all my concerns and explain how Scissors are made to be taken apart.. And furthermore sent out a new replacement set.. Great Customer Service... Thank You OOU!!! ... show more

First this product shipped fast and came in a box that was easily identifying. Second the products came in a safe and quality condition. This is important to me. When I buy something I expect that it'll do what I need it to. So far these meet that. expectation. Now the only downfall to the beautiful design: The slots that the knives go in in the block are bigger than my finger tips. This is a problem because it means IF I am not paying attention to how I grip the block I could end up losing parts of myself. maybe a fraction of an inch more of wooden material would have resolved the concern. ... show more

    • The scissor fall apart
The good news: The scissors are the shapest I have ever used. The less than good news: The two halves of the scissors literally come loose from each other and, in my case, fall to the floor.

When I first received them they worked very well however after 3 months the handles started to come apart ( Ido not put them the dishwasher). I tried to contact the company several times with no response.

    • Loose handle
The media could not be loaded. Update* they sent me a replacement knife. Great customer service. First ever review- Product looks great and were great till I used one of the knifes and the handle is loose. Please See video and you can hear the rattle.
