I just got this keyboard in this morning... finished charging it and linked it up to my iPad. I love it so much I am already jumping on here to leave a review. I always have loved the more tactile, old school clicky type devices. They make me feel more in touch with my writing, and bring a sense of satisfaction that makes the writing (typing) experience enjoyable in and of itself. My primary reason for making this purchase was to have a keyboard for my iPad so that I can work on my writing projects there rather than on my clunky MacBook, or in scattered notebooks. I’m excited to use it after work, and so far it is exactly what I wanted. In the past I bought one of those for-writing-only creativity inspiring devices that have this same old school keyboard feel and no internet to minimize distractions, but have found that I like being able to see my entire work in one document, and prefer not to have to export for editing, etc.. Pairing to my device was very simple — just have the instruction booklet handy so you know which keys to push. You’ll want to fully charge the device before going to use it. I plugged it in about 90 minutes ago and just left it. The size is perfect, and it is comfortable to have sitting in my lap with my iPad up on my table. Very stable. Key spacing is great, for my hands at least — seems standard size. The clicking is very satisfying... probably wouldn’t be great in an office setting where you will annoy other people :). Very pretty to look at, too. And they just dropped the price the day after I bought it! Not great for me, but an excellent time to buy if you are considering it. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. I got my keyboard today after months of looking at it. I have previously purchased another brand and style. I loved it as well, but it didn’t have a stand for your iPad and it is very light. I purchased this one because I want a stand that connected to the keyboard so I could have that computer feel. It works great. I like how the typing feels better the one I purchased before. The keys are closer together so makes typing must easier for that no look typing method that I learned in school. You know… fgf space, jhj space. Lol. The keyboard is heavier than I thought it would because of other reviews I read. It also says it isn’t made to hold a large iPad, but as you can see(in the photo) I have a 12” and it is holding it fine. I have been working for hours with it since I got home from work because I love it so much. I wish I could have purchased this one first. I am using the other one for my IMac desktop in place of the original that comes with it. It has two charging ports one on each side of the keyboard to allow for direct connections. Love that. It is easy to set up with Bluetooth. You can connect 3 devices to it if you would like. The round dial on the keyboard controls the volume to your device, that’s super cool. Light is great as well. It is only one color though. My other keyboards have multi-color lights that you can change to suit your personality. So if you are looking for a keyboard that has that old time feel and sound you should purchase this one. You won’t be disappointed. ... show more

This probably the closest thing to an 'old school' typewriter! Love the feel of the keys...you can type super fast. Backlit keys are a must for me and this one has a very nice bluish light. Works well on my Mac and on the parallels side of my Mac likewise. You will have to charge this keyboard when not in use so that it's ready to go next time you log on...not sure how long the battery lasts. Or you can just keep it powered up with the usb charger that's included. I had tried the Qwerky one but wasn't impressed, especially for the price! I then got the Azio keyboard which was pretty good but I found that I had more misspellings with it due to the style and closeness of the keys. Although this one is primarily made from plastic it outperforms the others...I was pleasantly surprised. ... show more

The typewriter keyboard is easy to use and clicks with each key. The keys type comfortably and the pink keys are a nice color. It is made of plastic including the connective pieces. The blue backlight under the keys, is bright and easy on the eyes. Makes it easier to see the keys in the dark. Connects to Bluetooth and allows multiple Bluetooth connections. Super easy to pair. The price is steep for being made of plastic. That was the only disappointment. Other than that, I love it. I'd purchase it again only for $99 or less. No mas! :) ... show more
