It’s sleek so it doesn’t take up too much room, the cup holder is a huge plus, the varied heights are great for his laptop on top and scripts on bottom. Top area fits his audio equipment perfectly and the cord holes make everything clean. He uses a regular kitchen stool as his chair when he needs to switch positions (has a bad back) without lowering the whole unit. It is a little bit of work to lower the unit as you need to move pins down holes manually, and I wouldn’t want a bunch of stuff sitting on it, but we never lower it anyway. The headphone hooks were a selling point but his headphones are a little too large to fit, so he hangs other things from it. The description makes the desk seem very practical and ideal for a desk that can offer the ability to raise and lower. First, the instructions were difficult to understand making it difficult to put together. The pictures are too small to decipher. Second, the quality is poor . All the holes don’t align to raise and lower the desk - which defeats the purpose of the utility of such a desk. Third, the material is low quality - came peeled and scraped despite good packaging. Edit: soon after writing this review I was contacted by the company. The person I corresponded with was extraordinarily professional and eager to help. From speaking with her, It was evident that this company stands by their products and want to treat the customers well. I will not hesitate to order from this company in the future- Cynthia corrected my negative experience- I may have just gotten bad luck from the product I purchased. I'm happy with my purchase. I use my laptop on this at an angle with my 24" monitor on the top. Leaves lite room for the mouse however for a quick, easy, and very mobile desk, it's great. If I had to criticize it would be the hook placement for headphones or whatever you'd hang. It's in a bad place so the design could have been more intelligent. Update: the seller reached out and was very gracious to offer to send a new board or issue a partial refund. I really appreciated their willingness to make things right. Just finished putting the desk together and getting it set up. Unfortunately, the wooden piece for the keyboard arrived damaged. The corner was smashed and one of the holes for the keyboard ledge was missing part of the veneer around it. If I was using the ledge it would have covered the damage, but the ledge is too tall that it makes using the keyboard hard. I decided to not install the ledge since several other reviews warned about the height of the ledge. Torn on returning this and getting something else. ... show more

You can't beat it for the price but there are some things potential buyers should know. 1. As others have said the instructions have you put the top shelf on backwards. Easy enough fix...we turned it around. 2. It's not easy to raise and lower. This isn't an issue for me as I move my laptop from my main desk to this one when I want to stand. If you want to use this to sit and stand you might find it a burden to raise and lower. 3. I wouldn't trust the cup holder but that's not a concern for me so I simply didn't attach it. 4. The "stopper" for the keyboard is horribly in the way so I removed it and put tape black tape over the two holes. It might be okay if you intend to have it tilted, but that isn't how I use it. The good is it feels very sturdy, rolls easy, and looks great. I bought two but my husband hasn't assembled his yet. - Make sure to get a mat to stand on while using it. Updated: seller was very fast at responding wanting to make it right! They offered either a full refund or replacement. Really appreciate how quick they were to make it right! The desk looks cool, but the arm is bent holding the top desk piece up causing it to be titled. Looks like an issue with the welding so it’s not something that can be fixed either.
