We tried both functions and made numerous creative pieces between my 10 year old boy and myself over the last few days. Reminds me of my childhood! Really fun and very creative way to spend a rainy day inside. They have everything you would need in the the kit including the paint. They give you about 30 pieces of paper and it's very easy to make your own if you keep one for a template. Great gift for any kid

This is a huge hit with my daughters! They love using this for hours! It comes with 30 papers which you can cut some of your own if you save one as a template. You can also refill the paint to keep the fun going! I also had to join in for the nostalgia as this reminded me so much of my spirograph when I was younger. I got the spin and spiral art station, because I have a spin art station, at my house and the grandkids absolutely have a blast playing with it. I got this for my grandkids and I have heard nothing, but positive reviews. They love the spin station for the spiral and they love the paint spinning. So much fun it gives them creativity and it gets them off of their electronic devices. We need to find good fun things for our kids to do that are not electronical devices. We really like this spin art craft. I like that it can double as both a Spirograph and as a splatter paint graph. It’s slightly on the small side, but good enough for my kindergartener and preschooler.
