The 5 bowl set has you covered for sizes.. some dang attractive colors too. Lots of us LOVE the old glass bowl sets from the old days and aside from this material likely won't hold up over time like glass.. they are light & the tab on one end helps to hold, a pour spout, plus I can use baking or sourdough pancakes etc without using metal. I got these when prices were low end of last year and still have almost those same prices and is why I got the 5 bowl blue and just a few dollars more the measuring spoons & cups same color... for those with weird hangups liking things to match? lolol PLUS with these lighter bowls that I've promised I'll only wash by hand so they stay visually nice (plastic actually seems VERY resistant to wear tho) I've weighed and written the gram weight bottom of all the bowls when I'm baking, a nice touch for those that weight when they bake bread. ... show more

These are truly the perfect mixing bowl. The variety of size is great. Each bowl has a pour spout, which makes them super functional. They are super easy to store. Bought a set for me and my mom and we both use them all the time!

I wish I'd bought these years ago! I love how they don't slide, how they're easy to clean, and how they take up only the space of the largest bowl to store. Just can't say enough good. Worth every penny.

I purchased to repalce my set of Anchor Hocking pyrex bowl set. They are too heavy for my arthritic hands. My wife got us a set of 3 Kitchen Aid plastic mixing bowls around 2009. They were cheaply made, pretty thin plastic, and the rings on the bottom came off and had to be re-glued. I wasn't a fan, but I figured they would eventually wear out and I'd get some better ones then. Now we're finally down to 1 of the 3. I was about to buy us some nice stainless mixing bowls, but my wife was really fond of the old bowls (why???). I saw this set of 5 Kitchen Aid in pistachio. Most people probably wouldn't care for the color, but we have dark green tile and countertops in our kitchen and the bowls' color matches some of the highlights. And I knew she loved the old bowls for whatever irrational reason, so I ordered these for her sake mostly. Unboxed them yesterday and I have to say I was impressed! Having 5 bowls of graduating size is obviously more utilitarian than the 3 we had, but beyond that these are MUCH better made. The plastic is thicker and there's a lip at the top of the bowl. I can see now I am going to be perfectly happy with these. Yeah, I know. Being this excited about mixing bowls is a sign of how old I've gotten! ... show more
