There were no reviews to go on, so I decided to be a guinea pig. Mostly I wanted the bubbly/collar thing - but it turns out it's balloon material and will be torn in no time. I expected something firm-ish. Plus my faucet, tho' the exact right diameter, is actually slightly too big (see photo). Make sure you order the right type for your sink. Otherwise, this will just be in the way when you have to clean regularly beneath it anyway. It's a nice idea, but difficult to gauge fit given that installations are rarely standard in older homes or from place to place So, choose wisely and measure well. Good idea, though. ... show more

I always end up splashing water on my counter when using the sink, and it sits there because I don't see it well with my light countertops. Also, it seems this area is staining with time with how much ends up getting splashed there. I tried a similar product before, but the hole was too small for my faucet fixture. It was silicone to cut to size, but was impossible to cut it exact enough, so there still were gaps and water got under it. With this product, it fit extremely well with my fixture, and has a very good seal with no gap in the front. This one is supposed to have a larger angle with the sides so that water flows back into the sink, but as you see from my picture that it still collects water. But better in there than on the counter. I think it looks pretty good too, but I wish it were a little wider. ... show more

I had a brain glitch moment when I ordered this splash guard because I didn't realize it is designed for pillar faucets only and will not work on my three hole kitchen faucet. So I can't say how effective it is at containing splashes. What I can speak to is how this is actually more flimsy than I expected. It's not necessarily a bad thing, I just think it could be just a little more sturdy. The silicone is pretty thin and soft. It does still support a heavy bottle of dish liquid set on the ridges so it doesn't affect the function of the product. I'm sure if used with a pillar faucet as it was designed to be, it would do a fine job, I'm just not going to change out my faucet to find out. ... show more

Faucet splash guard works well to keep the water from getting on the thin strip of sink/counter behind the faucet. Water drains well and has some raised fins to keep sponges or other items to help drying. Easy to clean and rinse off. My only issue is that this doesn't sit flat on the counter. I get it that they are allowing air circulation to avoid mold/mildew build-up, but that means you can't put a manual hand soap dispenser, as this creates instability when dispensing soap (yea, it's caused a bit of problems in the beginning). ... show more

I ordered this item but was not sure what to expect out of it. I must say I have been pleasantly surprised. It was easy to put around the faucet and it does exactly what it's expected to do. Its design makes sure all the water gets drained out around the faucet if you keep a sponge or soap by the sink. The mat is super easy to clean without any trouble. Only suggestion I'd recommend is that perhaps having some suction cups at the four corners can keep the mat in place. Sometimes depending on different people picking up and putting down soap/sponge on it, makes it rotate. Otherwise, we are really happy with it! ... show more
