This is the KEY to having your nails adhere well. A clean slate is absolutely crucial. I've also used hand sanitizer in a pinch and it has worked. 4)I HIGHLY recommend purchasing the KISS BRUSH ON nail glue you can even Subscribe and Save. A final tip would be to avoid lotions, oils, and water for the first hour or so to allow the glue to fully cure. I keep a spare brush on glue and the extra nails in my purse in case one ever does pop off. (I'm a primary school teacher so it's a very hands-on job with the littles needing help like prying Legos apart etc. so it's almost bound to happen towards the end of the week.) Lastly, to make removal easy I suggest soaking in a very hot both and applying coconut oil to help weaken the adhesion. These fit me well. I used nail glue to attach, the stickers get messed up when I try to use them on any nail. What's best is that they're so nice and"gel" thick, that I cut them down further to be closer to my finger. The press on nails game has improved over the years. Anyway, these nails are easy to shape and contour to custom fit my nail bed. They were easy to apply and they look natural. I have had them on for four days now and they're still intact. I didn't use the glue that came with it. I got the Kiss Powerflex brush-on glue which works much better. I'm not rough with my hands anyway but I do take care of my baby which is work lol. Folks say constant water and soap loosens the glue. Well not for me. I wash my hands and I shower faithfully...good hygiene is a must. They are still intact. I think the only folks who call these nails cheap and hate them expect them to last like acrylics. These are PRESS-ON NAILS! They are not meant to last for weeks so get real. All I need is a good week and then I'll be ready to move on to a new color anyway. Update: Day 9 and these nails are still bolted on. I only had one pop off two days ago. ... show more

I'm in love with these nails! They were super easy to apply and the color is a very subtle, not bubblegummy pink. I've only had them on one day but as far as I can tell they will probably never fall off. They are solidly adhered to my nails! However, the short length isn't short at all. They are hooker long! So if you're not a hooker or don't happen to need to use your hands for...well, anything... you'll need to modify them. And that's no easy task. Cuz these puppies are sturdy. I started out using a regular emory board as the instructions suggested. But it soon became obvious I wouldn't have the time to do it this way until I retire and have nothing else to do. I also didn't have the strength to move it along very quickly. So unless you're strong as an ox and have a solid week with absolutely nothing else to do but file these superstrength plastic nails down you're going to need a motorized piece of equipment to get the job done. I used this very handy device I got to beat back the dry cracked skin on my heels. https://amzn.to/2TbILky Once I got the hang of it (I used the medium grit head) I whittled them back pretty quickly then touched them up with an emory board. And now I can type, open jars and scratch without drawing blood! But seriously, they are super pretty and very real looking. I'll update this review if any of them fall off before they should. ********** UPDATE on 6/28/23: After day 2 I noticed that both of the nails on my index fingers were loose, so I removed them and used new glue pads to apply them again. I attribute this to user error, as I may not have applied the nails correctly. The glue pads easily detached from the press on nails, but were still firmly attached to my natural nail. I was able to roll the glue pads around and remove them. The base coat beneath the glue pads was intact, so no damage to my nails whatsoever. After using new glue pads to re-apply the press on nails to my index fingers, I decided to have some fun and added some glitter polish to the tips of all the nails. ********** This is my first time using press on nails. The color is very pretty. I'm not a fan of the square shape, but I was able to easily file them into a more oval shape. I was nervous about applying glue to my natural nail, so I started with 2 coats of base coat on my nails, then used the sticky pads instead of the glue. So far they are holding up well (day 2).
