I was a bit hesitant about purchasing this as it was made in China, but after reading a review by a guy that had a Waukesha engine I went ahead and ordered the carb. The application is on a Waukesha FC model 4 cylinder engine. When I received the product I must say I was pleasantly surprised at the quality. I swapped the throttle linkage and reversed the choke cable plate to fit my application. Also I set the float to 1 5/32" per the old Zenith carb setting. The engine runs great. A word of caution... open the throttle a crack after choking to allow air to enter the carb. Everything is real tight. It is a drop dead, spot on copy of the Zenith 12522 carb. The float is brass also! ... show more

Everything you need is included. I had to trim a bolt head for clearance against the back of my 6v generator but it is a perfect replacement at a great price. Everything you need is included and the tractor runs great now.

So this carburetor does not bolt on a Allis Chamlers C tractor right out of the box. You have to cut one of the studs down quite a bit and cut the step down inlet adapter down to fit the original air cleaner. Once on the carburetor works great. No adjustments were needed. I've ran it probably close to 10hrs so far and no issues. Overall happy with the purchase. ... show more

    • Cheap metal, body cracked along bottom edge at intake
Unit was not assembled correctly, and intake flange cracked the pot metal on intake of carb. The butterfly arm is to long and hits engine, Going on International 340 Universal replaces Zenith 12522 carb, Does run ok but body crack wont work out, sending it back to amazon

The order was received in good time. As stated this is a universal fit for several tractors that being said some alterations were in order. Installed on a 1958 IH 240 utility tractor. The studs a much smaller than the original, The throttle shaft is way too long and had to cut off so it wouldn't hit the engine block. The choke shaft and full assemble had to be re positioned from the engine side to the opposite side. It is very difficult to get the throttle shaft and butter fly adjusted properly to the governor linkage. Tractor does run with this carburetor after a lot of putting it on and off so things would fit. I would say order as a last resort. ... show more

I own a1948 Farmall Super A which runs with the Zenith carburetor. The one I had in it wasn't correct so this Kipa (which looks like a Zenith) was the correct size. I was a bit skeptical at first but after making adjustments to the throttle linkage it works great! I actually like the Kipa over the Zenith because it has both fuel/air settings......the Zenith only has the main jet. It's a great value.....I highly recommend one! ... show more
