I purchased the mango flavor multiple times so when it was time to restock, I decided to live a little. You know go outside my comfort zone. I chose the cool lime flavor and it tastes like crushed medicine and battery acid. So nasty. Neither one dissolves easily, but that’s not a problem for me.

That just were not going like how they used to. I sat down one day and figured out why. I had stopped taking EAA's because I thought they weren't working. FF to working out and, being older, just struggling to feel good. I then researched different EAA's and decided on Kion since they actually tell you what's in it vs others with "proprietary blend" which doesn't break down. I'm on my 2nd container (so 2nd month) and I definitely feel a difference. My runs are going better, I'm recovering better and I just feel better. Flavors: I've tried Watermelon and Mango. Both are decent tasting (let's face, this type of stuff just doesn't taste the best in general) but I'm finding the Mango to be my favorite. I can actually drink the mango by itself mixed with water and ice and find it very refreshing. I will often toss a scoop of the Kion into whatever I have left of my hydration in the bottle after a workout so many times it's mixed with Nuun and I'll finish my Nuun with the EAA's added. The watermelon was really good when I added it to freshly made watermelon juice, squeezed lime and soda water (or lime seltzer). I imagine adding the mango to any small amount of fruit juice with lime or and soda water will be refreshing as well. Anyway... Quality product, taste compared to others is good, brand with good reputation, easily mixes with whatever (I just usually shake to mix in any lidded container and it mixes perfectly). I have item on subscribe & save, though I wish it was a little more affordable. However, having tried cheaper EAA's, it's cheaper for a reason and definitely didn't work as well for me. ... show more

This is the only brand of aminos I have tried so I have nothing to compare it to but as someone new to aminos the taste is pretty bad but still can be stomached! I just mix it in my water and throw it back. I use. my frother to mix it so it blends perfectly. I can tell a notable difference when using this as my pre work out. The flavor of the mixed berry is horrible. Too sweet and artificial. Can’t mix it with anything other than water and I still struggled to get it down. Would return and try different flavor but not eligible. Don’t spend $$$ on this

I've been using Kion Aminos Essential Amino Acids for a while, and I definitely notice an improvement in my recovery. It helps reduce soreness and keeps me feeling energized after workouts, which I love! The only downside is the taste—it’s a bit bitter, but honestly, it’s not too bad. I want to love it because I believe in the science behind essential amino acids and their benefits for muscles. The watermelon flavor is super yummy, though a bit on the sweet side for me. Unfortunately, it didn’t sit well with my sensitive digestion. I gave it the full 30 days to try and get used to it, but it just didn’t work for me. This product is amazing. Definitely a must for anyone that works out. It is also a must for anyone that has an injury that requires a surgery. I had a partial torn rotator cuff, and it helped me heal faster with minimal muscle loss.
