  • Could not ask for a better frame.
Size: KC-8GPU
Spent hours looking over different frames and I stumbled across several variations of this one. Over all it did exactly what I wanted. Sturdy and appears to be of quality components. Assembly was fairly straight forward and I had it together in no time. Only have two things I wish were different. First being the instructions on how to put it together. 99% of it is explained very well. However while majority of the pieces are clearly labeled in the instructions not all of them where and that took some trial and error guess work. Especially on how to put the right angle brackets together. Secondly is purely a visual concern and that is the acrylic mounts for the PSUs and SSD. Wish they where black or perhaps in a brushed aluminum like the rest of the frame. The clear acrylic stands out but are 100% funcitonal. ... show more

  • Well made and well priced
Size: KC-8GPU
The 2020 aluminum extrusion are very well made and it's black anodized. Screws holes are aligned well. It took me less than 30 min to install. Very sturdy and light weight. Only issue I had was my ATX Micro motherboard did not have good mounting. This RIG may have been designed for full size ATX motherboard but I did not see this written in the description. In any case, my motherboard had enough mounting to be stable. Be aware for the height of the bottom shelf, I have a Cooler Master AMD Wraith Ripper CPU cooler. This so tall, the top exceeds to the upper shelf. Be aware of this height. This is my fault not the design. I should have picked a smaller CPU cooler but this one looks so cool and priced very well. ... show more

  • Best mining frame
Size: KC-8GPU
In my opinion this is one of the best mining frames for the price. It’s very sturdy and the instructions are easy to follow. To those complaining that it cannot house larger GPUS , you can message the sellers and they will send out an extension bracket that works perfectly . I have 7 3080 ti’s and fit without issues.I pair the rig with the 4300 rpm fans and it works perfectly . Would definitely be purchasing more of these for my future rigs. ... show more

  • Works, but with some caveats
First, whoever said that the motherboard holes don't line up, they're wrong. They line-up perfectly with older full ATX boards. I'm using an old MSI AM3 790-FX GD-70 (circa 2010ish) motherboard for my build. I haven't tried reversing the motherboard to utilize onboard PCIe slots, but the holes are drilled properly if you go by the diagram provided. Secondly, the others who were critical that the GPUs won't fit, they are correct, but you don't really need the middle support bar if your cards are long enough. If you install the middle support bar, most GPUs will slant pretty dramatically - the workaround would be to drill holes for additional placement. I'm using a Gigabyte GTX 1660 Ti in the photo, with five MSI 1660 Super's on order. If they're all similar in size, I'm just going to remove the middle support bar and let them rest on the other end. The cage comes with some 3M non-slide padding. I'm not using mine yet - waiting to see if the MSI cards are long enough. There are also slots on the bottom deck to install cards if you don't want to install them on top as seen in the item description. A couple caveats here is that if your cards are too long, you won't be able to install fans. I had to take one of the fans off to demonstrate placement of a card if you use this method. Yes, if you have an old ginormous CPU cooler, you'll need to get a low profile one, as you can tell in the photo. I have a cheap $20 one coming in today. I'll see whether it'll fit. If your motherboard doesn't have onboard display, you'll need to get a 90 degree HDMI adapter, or take out one of the fans if you want to use one of the GPU display ports. There isn't enough clearance. To summarize: 1) Middle bar prevents proper installation of GPUs - solution is to take the bar off or drill additional holes. 2) You'll need to use a low-profile CPU cooler 3) If you plan on installing cards on the lower deck, fans may not fit 4) Not enough clearance for DP/HDMI cable if your motherboard doesn't have onboard video I'm still tinkering with this rig - I saw someone with a photo of a 5-GPU rig that had the middle bar installed - not sure how he did that. I may send the frame back depending on whether the MSI cards I have on order will fit. This may be a great option if you're looking to add two or three cards sitting alongside an open frame ATX desktop, and pull cables over to the frame that way. There are a lot of really expensive junky 2-slot carriages out there, this would be a great option for that use-case. Three stars! Not bad, but not great. Update: I finished building my rig, and it's actually not bad at all. The middle bar, and the reason the card bends slightly upward, is because the bottom of the risers that I use have 1.5mm tape, which along with the 1.5mm tape that comes with the rig bends it upward. The other thing I had to do was screw it on the bottom hole (previously, had it screwed to the top). Also, I didn't mention, this frame also comes with a starter button. My motherboard already had a start button built-in, just one thing less you have to worry about. The low-profile fan I got works perfectly. I'm adding an additional star because everything works as expected. Adding photos of the end product. ... show more

  • Cost less than others of same type...
Size: KC-8GPU
I bought another brand of the same design for my first build but this was less than half of that one's cost. I am not going to defend the instructions that come with it, they're awful. To anyone who complains that the holes don't line up for a motherboard, that is because if you follow exactly what the drawings say, the bottom part is backwards. Just flip the bottom part over before attaching the sides. The bars that hold the fans are super sturdy and I prefer this over that little plastic pieces of the more expensive brand. Yes, it does take some time to put together, but it's not very difficult. Just remember, the pictures show the bottom backwards and you'll do just fine. ... show more

  • Badly engineered
Size: KC-8GPU
This case is very badly designed * Long cards do not fit, if you're planning to put backside fans, e.g. 3080ti gigabyte! * There is no weight support for short cards, I don't know why they put supporting leg so far away, 23cm from the front, e.g. length of zotac 3060 is 21.5cm, so it does not reach the leg. * Only one point of connection between pair of side legs and the main frame, it holds on one screw and friction!! You'll understand what I'm talking about during first steps of assembly * Only two points of connection for PSU, could easily made 3! * Poorly written manual, some steps and accessories are missing * Overpriced, for this price I'd not expect to spend so much time for assembling and then modding to make it work for my cards. ... show more

  • Very sturdy, complete kit
Size: KC-8GPU
Works perfectly for the task at hand. The kit includes everything you'll need to assemble and an all-metal kit. Difficulty in assemble... let's say it's not a beginner's kit. in the beginning of assembly, it feels a bit like juggling. The instructions are complete, but sometimes you need to search a bit to find the components to be used, but they are in there. Id recommend this one. ... show more
