The bar is heavy duty, but it takes a bit too long to attach and remove the straps from the hooks for my liking. The main reason I do not recommend it though is because the heavy and medium straps just broke on me, after only 1 month of use.

KINGTLE Resistance Band Bar Set isn't a bad starter high end resistance band set, but it's missing a number of things and isn't really portable unless you're either driving or leave the bar at home. 4 stars. I concur with other reviewers who point out that a lot of the utility here is limited because you're forced to do single arm work given the lack of attachments and bands; both are really cheap relatively speaking, so it wouldn't have been unreasonable to include them for the price. I am also not thrilled that they didn't include a couple other attachments, like for ankles, as well as a better option for door resistance - which you can and should buy separately. This also deserved a much better illustrated guide to resistance band exercising; here you've got a 3 page foldout with a few example exercises, but that doesn't even touch the surface as to what you can do. Last, the part that jumps out about this is that they claim this is portable, and honestly - unless you're driving it's not unless you leave the bar - which is about half the weight overall on this - behind. You're not going to carry this on an airplane, and while I really do like the bar for a lot of things, they could either choose to make this portable (with inherent weight limitations and different equipment) or an all-in-one home gym (which needed more equipment.) The price reflects the latter, so that should give you a hint. Overall, 3.5 stars rounded to 4; it's not a bad bit of workout equipment especially considering some of the cheaper resistance band sets out there, but it's probably a bit overpriced for what you get. ... show more

This is a great set- and best of all it can be used by everyone in the home. There are days (pandemic dependent) where no one in the house wants to go to the gym. And of course there are those days when getting to the gym is impossible. This resistant set really comes in handy. It has very thing you need to get a good gym workout at home or anywhere. Everything is well made, sturdy, and durable. The bands attach easily enough and are secure when in place. Stores easily and takes up no space. Overall really nice set! Great value! ... show more

Free weights like kettlebells and barbells have long been the standard for building and toning muscle, but in the past few decades weight machines, and more recently resistance systems have come into wide use. They all have their place, of course, but of the three, resistance systems like this KINGTLE Resistance Band Bar Set have the insurmountable advantage in size and portability. Packing a full 500-pound gym in a 7-pound bag, this set can be stored behind a planter or under the couch, and adds only a bit to the weight of your checked luggage for travel. I find it far better to carry my resistance system on trips than navigate through the kids, dilettantes and "out of order" machines in the hotel "Fitness Salon." My KINGTLE Resistance Band Bar Set includes four resistance bands, a two-size, three-piece chromed bar, and attachments for dozens of workouts. It's very easy changing from one setup to the next, and no other equipment or adapters will be necessary. The included manual booklet illustrates a number of routines to exercise virtually every muscle group, and includes advice on both using and maintaining the equipment. Safety is a major concern with any exercise equipment or program; the KINGTLE Resistance Band Bar Set is no exception. First and foremost, don't undertake any rigorous exercise program without consulting a physician. Second, keep the equipment in good condition - clean it regularly and don't use a cracked or torn band. Third, don't overstress the equipment - if you build up to the point where this set doesn't give you enough of a challenge, upgrade, don't overstretch the bands. And above all, these are not toys - don't leave your exercise equipment unattended around kids, or use it where kids might get too close. This bands set came. Everything in the description was in the package. The bands are good quality. They are well made and sturdy like all the other sets I’ve ever used. This is a great way to exercise in your home without needing a lot of equipment. You can literally work out every body part including the legs. What’s nice is you can get a gym bag and keep everything in it. I have been working out since high school. I’m 42 now so I’ve been doing it for years. I’ve noticed that bands can work out muscles in a way that free weights and body weight exercises can not do. You get resistance throughout the whole range of motion. With free weights your just pushing or pulling. Another nice thing is that bands are less stable. You have to use more of your stabilizing muscles. Your using all your muscles. These are even good to use with weights or body weight exercises. In a push-up poison you can put one end under your hand and then go over your back to the other hand. Doing this will make the push-up harder. There is just so much you can do with these. If you like to exercise and want to save a lot of money and space then this is the way to go. Working out with bands, weights, and body weight is the best thing you can do. It will make you more well rounded. In other words get this set of bands.
