    • Missing a few things, but a nice set overall
KINGTLE Resistance Band Bar Set isn't a bad starter high end resistance band set, but it's missing a number of things and isn't really portable unless you're either driving or leave the bar at home. 4 stars. I concur with other reviewers who point out that a lot of the utility here is limited because you're forced to do single arm work given the lack of attachments and bands; both are really cheap relatively speaking, so it wouldn't have been unreasonable to include them for the price. I am also not thrilled that they didn't include a couple other attachments, like for ankles, as well as a better option for door resistance - which you can and should buy separately. This also deserved a much better illustrated guide to resistance band exercising; here you've got a 3 page foldout with a few example exercises, but that doesn't even touch the surface as to what you can do. Last, the part that jumps out about this is that they claim this is portable, and honestly - unless you're driving it's not unless you leave the bar - which is about half the weight overall on this - behind. You're not going to carry this on an airplane, and while I really do like the bar for a lot of things, they could either choose to make this portable (with inherent weight limitations and different equipment) or an all-in-one home gym (which needed more equipment.) The price reflects the latter, so that should give you a hint. Overall, 3.5 stars rounded to 4; it's not a bad bit of workout equipment especially considering some of the cheaper resistance band sets out there, but it's probably a bit overpriced for what you get. ... show more

This is a great set- and best of all it can be used by everyone in the home. There are days (pandemic dependent) where no one in the house wants to go to the gym. And of course there are those days when getting to the gym is impossible. This resistant set really comes in handy. It has very thing you need to get a good gym workout at home or anywhere. Everything is well made, sturdy, and durable. The bands attach easily enough and are secure when in place. Stores easily and takes up no space. Overall really nice set! Great value! ... show more

This is a pretty complete product. I love it. I'll grant that I would prefer a trip to the gym but this is a really nice alternative when you can't or traveling. PROS - Bar: The bar is very tough. I love how much weight it can take. It screws easily and when set in place, it holds very well. - Adjustable bar: I have a similar product. I love that this one can have 2 different sizes. It can be useful depending on the exercise. - Resistance bands: It has 4 different sizes. I went straight for the biggest and for some exercises, it was a bit much. - Storage: Everything fits well in a small bag. It is lightweight and small to carry. - Door stop: I don't use this much but it's a nice addition - Instructions: There is a nice pamphlet to show exercises to try in different configurations. It's a nice beginner guide. CONS - Need to be careful: This takes some adjustment in terms of safety. While doing the chest press, you need to make sure the bands don't slip. It's happened to me and the slap me on the back of my neck. There is also always a concern you'll let go of the bar accidentally and smack yourself with it. Definitely need to be more aware of this. This set has everything you need for a full-body workout in a small space! All the pieces tuck away into a small bag for storage. So far, after only a few weeks, all the various parts have been sturdy and easy to swap around. The clips are easy to open and close. Why pay for a gym membership when you can do a lot of the same things at home for a fraction of the price? I found this super easy to set up and it also came with a "quick start" guide that shows you how to set the bar and bands up to have a full body work out in your own home. I just look up resistance band workout on youtube and follow along with those. Everything breaks down easily and it all fits nicely in the storage bag.
