The D4PRO is a powerful dash/reverse cam in a small form factor. The packaging was very nice, with good protective covers for all of the lenses, and the including cables for the reverse camera were generous with their length, being long enough to use on SUVs and trucks alike. There are two separate USB ports that you can use, one on the GPS base at the top of the unit, or further down on the camera itself, the former being more convenient if you are running the cabling under panels. Also included is an extremely convenient panel tool, which made pulling panels and hiding cables MUCH easier. The front-facing camera, while having a very decent FOV, can record video in 2K or 4K resolution, which is super helpful when extra detail is needed (such as being able to read the plates on the vehicles in front of you!). The reverse camera records in 2K has a very large FOV, and can be set up to turn on when you put your car in reverse by connecting an extra included cable to a backup light. Both front and rear cameras record excellently during both day and night, with the video adjusting to a night vision mode that enables you to see details in low-light situations clearly. A really cool feature made available on this unit is its phone connectivity. While the camera records internally on a micro SD card, you can also download the Kingslim app to directly stream and download videos from the dashcam! This is really convenient, especially in a world with more and more streaming options versus needing to own a physical card reader. Connecting the phone is very simple, using a built-in WI-FI connection to link the unit to your phone. A GPS is also built into the top connecting base, which can show additional information such as MPH during a recording. While the built-in screen is fairly small, the menus are well-designed and the buttons are responsive. However, the small screen is not an issue due to the convenient streaming you can do on your phone. The media could not be loaded. First, it came in a super slick looking box. Parts are made of good materials, no cheap feels there! You are also given options on how you want to mount the dashcam. Video quality is great. Things can be seen clearly at night also. Both front and back videos are available. Even if the dashcam screen shows only front camera view, it also records the inside view. You can also change the settings to show both views on the screen. New feature for me is being able to transfer the video directly to my phone using the kingslim app. You won't have to take out the memory card, although that is also an option. All the settings and options are easy to understand. Built-in GPS also helps with the timezone, so times are automatically adjusted, which wasn't a feature in my previous dashcam. I was looking for another dashcam for my other car, and after searching for a while I found this deal with 20 dollars coupon. The D6 dash cam installation was easy. It came with both a fixed mount, a suction cup, and cable management. The smart way is they gave you a little peel-off plastic so it won’t stick to your windshield permanently. This is the first dual front and back dashcam that I have. Very solid 4K video, and it is loaded with a ton of other features like USB-C, wifi, and parking... Pretty straight forward install, love the dual camera. First time having a dual camera, and really like how well it works. The system makes them into two different file types but puts them in each their own folder. They even have a software you can run on a windows computer that will put your video with the gps data so you can see it on a map. Overall the image quality is better than other dashcams I have used in the past. Audio is a nice touch it even brings the audio with the rear camera, although its the same audio as the front so there isn't a mic on the rear camera. I also did notice, if you take both the front and back clips and play them at the same time, the rear camera is about 1ish seconds behind the front, I think this has to do with the boot up process maybe where the front facing maybe starts recording just a second before the rear. I also really think its cool that you can rotate the front camera for an internal camera, my wife use to try for lyft so I know she would of really liked having that functionality. The camera works really well, great video capturing with it. Clearer than most other cameras I've seen, well enough to see the plates clearly. Installed on a 2021 civic sport. Cables are long enough to run front and back under the header and side covers on the interior. Syncing phone to the camera is a little akward. Takes some time to get used to. The media could not be loaded. The D6 camera is impressively easy to operate. The camera records two views at the same time. Upon reviewing the videos in the camera app's album, the two different recorded views are side-by-side with date and time stamps. The clarity on the camera videos are crisp and clear, as is the night video quality. The D6 booklet explains it all and includes a help number if needed. The only thing additional needed is a "dash camera memory card." The D6 camera will notify you when you need to clear memory. I consider this D6 camera an investment in my personal security. The most challenging aspect for me has been determinging the sweet spot for placement on my windshield. Now, my brother wants to buy one for his truck. ... show more
