This was a perfect choice for my 3 year old grandson, but a his 4 year old sister liked it too. Speaks clearly and does several things in different ways. Worked right out of the box, but just note that the controller takes 2 AA batteries, so it would be good to do what we did-bring a 6 pk. of AA's. These days you could pay a lot more for something and it's still junk. This item is reasonably priced in our opinion, and we didn't feel like we were wasting our money, (rare!). I think this well-made toy will get a lot of use and it definitely made my grandson happy! 😊 ... show more

Gave this to my grandson for Christmas just before he turned 2. He turned 2 in May and still loves it he likes the remote/animation features but also likes hugging it and holding it like a doll
