Very stable, hand grips aide to top step, not too heavy but a little bulky, well made, and easy to put together. I’m 73 woman with bad knees and my ceiling is 10’ high. I changed a light easily, safely and was able to use the hand grips to the top step without feeling like I would fall.

It's great. Very sturdy. Easy to assemble. I had a ladder that I had to teeter on the top step with no supports just to try change a light bulb.and still couldnt reach it. No more!!! I can easily reach the ceiling high enough to paint, change ceiling filters, hang curtain rods or change a light bulb with ease. It has the 2 side handles and a gentle rise up each step, plus a top shelf for supplies. I am 5'7" and almost 70 and still couldn't change a light bulb, now I can with an additional step if I needed it, and dont feel like I have to have someone else near by. Can't tell you how happy I am. Easy to fold, Easy to store. I can carry it, but prefer to "walk it" The handles would've been nice if they also folded flat, for storage, but its OK. My ceilings are 9' tall. Never realized what an issue that could be. Its opens and closes with the same ease as those Costco step ladders do, only it's really tall!!! Seller was great. Just arrived yesterday. UPS did a real number on the package. See photos of torn, open and beat up cardboard shipper. There is no packing protection inside to secure the unit on its long journey from China. When I opened it a rivet fell out of the box. I can't find a spot where one is missing from the frame. I was amazed that nothing is damaged so far. I put the accessory handles, tray assembly on. The instructions are very small and could use better descriptions. FYI- The top working step is 48 1/2"tall. I am 5'9" and can reach up to about 11'. This info should be added to the description. I stood on the top step and it seems very sturdy. ... show more

This ladder is taller than the one I had. Sturdy and very safe with steps that are large. The handy shelf to use tools and place on shelf is very handy. Rails are good to have for support if needed.

In order to paint my home myself, I needed to be able to reach to the top of my cathedral ceiling, which is 12 feet. While I had some standard ladders, they lack the stability, large steps, and hand rails that this one has. Local big box stores had a similar ladder but again, no hand rails. The box was a little damaged from California to Florida but nothing was damaged or missing. When I took everything out of the box, I found that all the small parts were neatly organized in a plastic, formed container that was well taped so all the screws, washers, and screw ends didn’t bounce around and get lost. There were extras of every small part, even the Allen wrenches, which I have not seen before. The ladder was easy to put together and not so heavy to make it difficult for me to move. One of the first things that I did was to replace a spotlight bulb in my kitchen . It was so easy. The last time I replaced the bulb, I felt very unsafe as I had to climb on the kitchen counter and stretch to reach the fixture. I told myself never again.
