As my wife and have recently entered our 70s, I wanted to get a ladder for the many projects we have around our house and cottage that was stable, had a wider step tread and handles. This ladder fills the bill almost perfectly. We got the one with 6 steps and it's stable on each step. The foldable tool shelf is very handy and it has places for holding paint cans, brushes and drill drivers pretty securely. I've used it indoors and outdoors and it works like a champ. The handles on the sides are solid, once we attached them, and they offer a good level of confidence, I think. It folds up well and stores neatly in the corner of my garage. I can highly recommend this ladder. It was delivered quickly, the assembly instructions were pretty clear and I didn't think the price was outrageous compared to comparable ladders. It's great. Very sturdy. Easy to assemble. I had a ladder that I had to teeter on the top step with no supports just to try change a light bulb.and still couldnt reach it. No more!!! I can easily reach the ceiling high enough to paint, change ceiling filters, hang curtain rods or change a light bulb with ease. It has the 2 side handles and a gentle rise up each step, plus a top shelf for supplies. I am 5'7" and almost 70 and still couldn't change a light bulb, now I can with an additional step if I needed it, and dont feel like I have to have someone else near by. Can't tell you how happy I am. Easy to fold, Easy to store. I can carry it, but prefer to "walk it" The handles would've been nice if they also folded flat, for storage, but its OK. My ceilings are 9' tall. Never realized what an issue that could be. Its opens and closes with the same ease as those Costco step ladders do, only it's really tall!!! Seller was great. Its a little heaver than I thought it would be but it is very sturdy and gets the job done, I bought it to get into my loft in my she shed and it is the perfect highth for that and the handles on the side make it easier to carry things up and down from the loft and when I'm done it fold right up out of the way, it is perfect for my needs, ive also used it for out door window cleaning and a few other things like that, it is much safe to go up and down that a ladder ... show more

Nice ladder, can easily reach 9’ ceiling. Assembly instructions were micro printed but with the aid of a magnifying glass I was able to read. It is sturdy and correspondingly a bit heavy. Folds flat so storing in a garage is easy. Overall well pleased.
