Holds up my son’s mattress pretty darn good. I prefer this over the wood and cardboard box spring so far. No squeaking at all. Simple instructions and easy to assemble. My son and I did it together. I like that the cover is washable too. I will but this again if needed. Very affordable.

BTW I am not getting paid for this review. This was the easiest thing I’ve ever had to set up. Everything is very neatly arranged with quality screws and rods. The instructions are easy to understand and preferably for you to set up with another person and a drill. It does not do that thing where it’s not balanced and lifts up on one side ( at least not mine) the cloth added at the end is easy to put on as well. I actually searched for a box spring king sized mattress on Amazon that had little to no reviews but that were 4+ stars. Long search with an amazing result. This took a long while to put together. It is not super complicated -- but -- the tiny screws and itty bitty allen wrench made it a tough one!! Once complete, it is very sturdy and seems an overall good value.

Getting a new bed was pretty stressful for me and my fiancé. Being able to put it together made it better since we live on the 3rd floor and it's a tight fit on the stairs. The assembly was pretty easy. Hopefully with it being metal, it won't break as easily as the wood ones.

As my previous box spring was wood and it broke, it prompted me to have to get a new one. I’ve never had a metal box spring before. It seems very sturdy and it has minimal noise when moving around on the bed. I haven’t it long but so far so good.
