Amazon reviewers can write our views anyway we feel about any product; all we wish to do is help. A reviewer on a social platform often states, “He does not trust Amazon Reviews”. The gentleman is a great reviewer and makes very high quality content, however in this case I disagree strongly. Amazon reviews are dependable and useful. However, use common sense the lower the number of reviews the less accurate the score is. Products that are “Amazon Choice” have always been a winning selection for me. The Amazon review scoring system, lets you know what customers and reviewers like and dislike about the product you are considering purchasing. I cannot state this enough but Amazon Vine reviewers have no reason or encouragement to favor or disfavor any product. Reviews are not edited by Amazon, unless they violate community policy, for example profanity etc., Amazon does not edit reviewers. The comment about Amazon reviews being questionable is somewhat debatable. I assume the comment made by the non-Amazon reviewer is referring to Amazon Vine reviews. I can’t speak for no one but myself, but if the day would ever come that I thought I was obligated to writing ads, I would move on. Amazon knows the value of customer satisfaction and wants to weed out any products that do not live up to advertising claims. Again if you have a question, please let me help. PERFORMANCE – The FP FLEXPEDIC full size mattress delivers on every claim and more. Have you ever had back pain? A significant percentage of us have persistent or a small bout with back pain in the course of our lives. Have you ever considered a new mattress? A family member recommended the idea which I followed and have never regretted. It is great to wake up feeling rested and healthy. In my view all claims are 100% true. If you have not purchased a mattress in the last 5 years, give some thought to buying a new mattress, regardless of brand, if anything just to rest better. Forgive me but I thought this statement was just a way of selling more product but changing your mattress every 5 years is not a bad idea so don’t feel as you are wasting money. It is a sound investment in improving your health in so many ways. I cannot imagine what I would ever want more from the FP FLEXPEDIC mattress. It truly changed my life. We spend 1/3 of our lives in a very small specific area of our home but it is amazing, we are far more concerned about the pattern and color of the comforter than we are a good mattress. Please, think about that one more second. We spend 1/3 of our lives sleeping! Nuts isn’t it? Life is too short and it is not a luxury to purchase a new mattress to improve your health. This full size hybrid mattress, with a 10-year warranty is well worthy of my full endorsement. If I could give the FP FLEXPEDIC mattress a 6 out of 5 star rating I would.     • Great price, love this for our spare room and 100 night satisfaction guarantee.
I'm generally wary of buying mattresses online without getting to essentially test them at the store first. But I still prefer to do that over buying one from a store where the markup is so high. I've been happy with a few of the boxed mattresses that I've gotten online, and generally consider them to be 4-4.5 star products. This mattress continues that trend, but what stands out above all else to me is the value that you get from this mattress, which made me round up to 5 stars. Other major name boxed mattress companies, including ones I have at home, cost significantly more for twin sized mattresses ($350-450). While I don't currently see it listed in that size, the twin mattress was available for approximately $220. Note: like all boxed mattresses I'd recommend giving it a day or two to air out and expand. I'm happy with its performance after trying it for a couple of nights, and will be using this in our guest room. I'm generally a stomach sleeper and woke up feeling rested and not in any type of discomfort/pain. The mattress is more on the firm side. And I'm happy that they offer a 100 night satisfaction guarantee like other major companies. Overall due to performance and value I'd give this a 4.5 out of 5, but am rounding up to a 5. Highly recommended if you're in the market for a new mattress and want to focus on budget friendly while still having something that performs well. ... show more

I wanted something that was on the firm side and this does the trick. It takes about 2-3 days before its ready to be slept on but it is consistently firm across all areas outside of the outermost edges. I've been using a hybrid coil/memory foam mattress for years now and I love them. This mattress is no exception. We got the 10" twin size for our guest bedroom. We have no complaints, and it is very comfortable. The individually wrapped coils provide great stability, and the pillow top gives you a degree of softness. You definitely sink into it a bit, but you're supported pretty firmly by the springs underneath. In my opinion, it's the best of both worlds. It definitely feels like a "medium firmness" to me - something to keep in mind for those who prefer softer mattresses. The thickness is right at 10", as advertised, so you could add another cheap memory foam topper to give it some extra softness if you want. Finally, of note - I was a bit skeptical of the whole "mattress in a box" thing, but I must say that after the prescribed 3 days of "inflating," I don't notice any difference between this and a traditional mattress. Overall, this mattress is built with great quality and provides a substantial value to anyone needing an upgrade or looking for a guest room twin! ... show more
