I bought this to use as my new permanent bed, and it is firm enough that I can get in and out of bed without disturbing my dog, and my laptop tray sits flat on top and it doesn't wobble, but its also a little plush on top, and it feels perfect for me as a side sleeper. The pamphlet in the box says to wait up to 72 hours for the mattress to fully inflate, but it came into a mostly full shape within minutes of exposing it to air, and I honestly slept on it that night with no issue. Its been a full week since sleeping on it and I have no complaints. I would only advise to carefully roll it out into position on your already prepared bed frame before you tear the plastic off, as the 12 inch firm queen is a bit of a pain to move around. This mattress is on my guest bed and my guest love it! It’s comfortable and yet firm. It didn’t take long to form after being boxed up. There wasn’t an odor upon removing it from the packaging. I wasn’t expecting the quality to be the best, but it is. I haven’t tried cleaning it yet but will soon.

This is a surprisingly comfortable mattress for the price. It was delivered yesterday and after opening if filed out very quickly (definitely have it in position before puncturing the wrapping!). There was a slight chemical smell, but it dissipated after about three hours with my bedroom window open. The bed is very comfortable and feels quite plush despite being a “firmer” mattress which I actually love. I was planning on buying a foam mattress topper but am glad I held off because I don’t actually need it with this mattress. Overall, if you’re on the fence about buying this mattress, I definitely recommend it. I feel like for the price. The quality that you get is really good. I can’t speak to the long term durability, but it appears to be very well-made. ... show more

I was super skeptical about purchasing a” boxed “ mattress, especially on line. My dog can no longer go up and down stairs so I had to move my bedroom to the first floor and needed a new bed set up quick! I crossed my fingers and ordered it! I received in two days and the box was fairly easy to handle on my own. Once unboxed, I took off the outside wrap and un rolled it on my new bed frame. I used the letter opener tool it came with to slice open the plastic and like magic it popped up in place!! Voila! I gave it 24 hours before sleeping on it to make sure it expanded properly. Long story short…. Very comfortable and totally worth the short money, ESPECIALLY if it’s for a guest room. I have no complaints and have been sleeping great!
