This duvet cover is really soft and comfortable. The fabric is so soft though that it loses any kind of shape. I wish it had some kind of finished edge seam to give it more structure because it's basically a big, floppy pillowcase. The color was consistent with no splotching, and the seams are holding up so far after two washings. I love love love this duvet. I bought it and it arrived the next day. We got the burnt orange. It's like a caramel color and we are keeping it out on our bed for fall. Accented with some fall throw pillows, it's perfect. I love the lightness of it and how soft it is. It's the perfect amount of puffiness and it just looks so pretty. I got this because of sensitive skin and the color was just what I wanted. With multiple top reviews saying this cover is soft, I decided to purchase it and try it out. It's not soft at all. The texture of this is more on the rough/stiff side similar to when clothing tags have a rough bit that irritates the skin when worn. EDIT: Customer support reached out to me, giving helpful with information on how their duvets are washed. They also gave tips on how I could make it softer after a few washes. I really love the color so I didn't want to give up on the duvet cover just yet. After washing it twice with regular detergent (no fabric softener), my duvet cover was noticeably softer. Wowwww. After all this time of searching for an affordable linen like duvet cover I finally found it! This duvet cover is stunning especially for the price!! I would say 100 perfect pet friendly. The pet hair doesn’t stick to the fabric which was a hugeeee thing for me. I cannot stand pet hair on beds but the little guy manages to sneak up on the bed every night. I love the color. It’s lightweight and mildly soft. It was the perfect color for my bedroom. No competitor had this color. I washed it once and let it hang dry. Pet fur didn’t seem to stick to it. Today I found a hole. Not sure what happened. I do have pets, however, they are not destructive. I wonder if it’s snagged on my wooden deck rail where I hang dry it.
