I felt bad for my husband because his hips and back hurt so bad. I saw this mattress and I always wanted a firm foam mattress. This mattress is fantastic I couldn’t be happier. It is firm but my husband and I wake up almost pain free. He said his hips doesn’t even hurt in the morning. I have neuropathy so I’m always hurting everywhere that could hurt. I use to wake up with bad shoulder pain sleeping in our old mattress but not once in 5 days sleeping on this have I yelled out in pain. The edge of the mattress is firm you will not slide off or roll off. It comes with a 10 year warranty if it last for 5 years I will be happy and I will buy it again for the price. You cannot go wrong if you are in the market for a firm mattress. I have this mattress on top of my old box spring and it doesn’t slide off. You will also not feel your partner moving around. BUYER BEWARE. "Medium" felt very firm to me. Product is NOT as described. I opened the package to test the mattress comfort for literally 5 minutes and didn't like it. My wife also did not like it. I immediately put the old mattress back on the bed and submitted for a return request. Seller was the unwilling to take mattress back although it was accepted for return and a return label was generated. I even offered to drive the mattress back to their AZ facility myself... still no. ... show more

This bed is medium firm but it’s very comfortable. I was looking for a new bed and came across this one and ordered it and I’ve been having the best nights sleep. Next time I’m going to get 14 inches instead of the 10. The bed is very heavy as well so make sure to place it where you want it.
