I received a completely gold chest with a surprise tool and 3 small plastic gems. The gems were rough with the indents that the sand seemed to have pressed into them and were weirdly a little sticky. If you get this I would suggest opening and mixing the gems and maybe some play coins from sorting else inside the sand, the gems were just sitting on the bottom. Before you buy this, be aware! There are two sizes of Kinetic Sand Treasure Chest. Since you are buying online you may not realize how tiny this 6 oz item is compared to the regular 1.25 lb version. (See the attached photo of 6 oz on left and regular size 1.25 lb on right for comparison.) Also, this tiny 6 oz Kinetic Sand Treasure Chest is overpriced. I purchased this 6 oz on Amazon for $15.18 for my grandson. When it arrived and my daughter saw it she laughed. I went to Target and purchased the regular 1.25 lb from Target for $15.99! I even bought the upgraded version with the shark on the lid at Target for a reasonable price which I gladly paid. ... show more
