They actually sounded way better than I expected. You do pick up noise (from the rubbing) through the tubes when they are moved (roughly) around. The comfort rating ... These ear buds will probably be comfortable for most people that are ok wearing this style of earbud. I cannot wear them even just around the house. I have only found 1 set of earbuds that Ever were comfortable. And even other earbuds of the same style or from the same manufacturer (JVC) are painful to wear/use. The other reason they are not comfortable is because I try to wear them at night, again probably bcuz of the style - they are definitely not wearable in any position besides your back. (For obvious reasons) I do wear them but do not manage to tolerate them for very long. They would be great if they were comfortable so I could use them as much as I would like. ... show more

    • The MIC stopped working less than two months after delivery
I bought 3 of these, one for me, my husband and child. At first, the Air Tube earbuds worked okay. They were not that comfortable and kept falling out of my ears, but the sound quality was good. However, less than two months after using one of the earbuds, the MIC started giving off a loud buzzing sound. I could not hear the buzzing sound on my end but every one I would speak to on the other end of the call would hear the loud buzzing sound and could no longer hear my voice. Prior to buying this, I had used an old Kinden airtube earbuds that lasted me 3 years. It was much cheaper than this version. However, this model stopped working. I can no longer use this for calls and online meetings since the buzzing sound doesn't stop when I use the earbuds. Very upsetting. Customer service of Amazon can only do so much (ie nothing). What a waste of money! ... show more

Previously I bought the same headphones model but in blue color. Black headphones have much better sound quality than the blue headphones. Blue headphones from KINDEN are good for phone calls. But they are not suitable for music, because sound quality is very poor. The sound quality in blue headphones was unbearable. However, the black headphones (also from KINDEN) have excellent sound quality so they are perfect for music. The sound quality of the black headphones is better than the normal earphones that came with my phone. ... show more

I returned these. They are nice looking and fit fine but the sound quality was pretty terrible. I ended up going with KINDEN Air Tube Headset Radiation Free Binaural with Microphone Deep Bass Noise Cancelling for Phone Pad - White. They didn't look as sharp but they had much better sound!

What I like is reducing my exposure to Electric Magnetic Field (EMF) radiation at a budget price. Does the shielding provided by Kinden work? I don't know, and I don't have the tools to detect such radiation. But, I am certain that moving any speaker magnets (and Bluetooth recievers) out of my ears and farther from my brain is a good thing. Using my cell phone in "speaker mode" and leaving it in a desk or countertop nearby may work even better, but compromises the privacy of any conversation I may be having. But, let's eliminate any confusion. This Kinden Air Tube headset is not "noise cancelling." And, no one should expect that technology anywhere near this price range. These earbuds are not even effective at noticeably reducing ambient sound... and that is fine with me. Every conversation (whether by telephone, radio or face to-face) in my life has occurred without the benefit of noise cancellation. So, though I gave a "One Star" rating for noise cancellation (because Amazon does not offer zero stars), Kinden needs to remove this rating category. It's like asking how well a rice-cooker clears sidewalks of snow... it unfairly pulls this product's overall rating down. True "noise cancellation" is an active process that generates sound specifically targeted to cancel out other unwanted sounds. "Comfort" of this headset is roughly what I expected... and, the same as I have experienced with every pair of earbuds I have tried. Having earbuds in my ears is never "wonderful" but it is something I eventually get used to. "Sound quality" is satisfactory. I did not (and no one else should) expect hi-fidelity reproduction of symphonic performances from a headset priced this low. I just want to understand what someone is saying during a phone call while they can also hear me clearly. Or listen to audio that accompanies a YouTube video, without keeping my spouse awake. Kinden Air Tube Earbud headset delivers that, without EMF radíation, at a reasonable price. My only complaint is that, when packed, Kinden included a zippered, clam-shell case with an "alligator clip" and three spare/alternative-sized gels (soft, interchangeable covers or tips that are inserted into the ear canal). Instead of one pair each of small, medium and large gels, my case held a zip-sealed bag with three small, two medium and one large gel. A minor annoyance. I preferred the smallest gels; and within a week, I'd forgotten what I did with the four I wasn't using. ... show more

    • Worked okay in one ear but didn't last long until shorted out.
I appreciate what this product is trying to do but mine just didn't last very long until they were shorting out to the point I couldn't use them any longer (about 3-4 months of use). I could only get them to fit somewhat comfortably by having one in my ear as the tubes curled substantially. I recommend paying up for the defender shield and getting the protection plan for those. ... show more
