I was looking for a solution to help me build a pergola for the patio. I found these and couldn't be more pleased. They came nicely packaged and seem well built. I used nominal 4"x4" cedar posts and they fit perfectly. The screw holes to attach to the 4x4s were a small for my liking so I used a Step bit to modify the screw holes to accept a larger wood screw I wanted to use. Purchased 8 foot 4x4 post, slid on the brackets and stood it up. That was it!! Easiest gazebo I ever built. Only one suggestion. The screws that came with it were gold colored. Wish they’d been black to match the brackets
