Great for around the house drilling like putting up cabinets or putting down loose baseboards on the porch. I wouldn't take it to a construction site though. Cheap, lightweight, the battery lasts a good while, charges quick, comes with a useless brush that takes up half the bag space, can't remember if the bits I have came with it. Probably check to see if they come with it before assuming it does. Hasn't failed me yet, but it's not the strongest drill, sill have to put some more force into pushing than a brand name dril. Still, good value. Wish I just went to a flea market though for a good 10$ brand name even if it is just a home owner version. This 12volt lithium KIMO drill is just the right size and power level to get into tight spaces and the bright LED is very helpful in dark spaces. Battery life well exceeds any cordless drill with a NiCd battery and the drill has a battery charge indicator showing remaining battery life. It's also nice that KIMO 12volt lithium batteries are interchangeable between tools as it is always best to have a charged backup battery at the ready. This drill has a rugged build, feels sturdy and performs well for drilling or driving screws. All torque settings have not been tried but it appears they perform adequately. The included accessories will get you by for awhile and it is nice to have the many assorted driver bits and flexible extension. As wear takes its toll though it would be best to invest in a set that is a step up for a longer life. All in all this is a bargain for what you get. This is a very nice drill set. We have used it on home projects and find it to be lightweight but powerful. It drove 1 1/2” to 2 1/2” #8 screws through fence boards and 2x4’s. The smaller size makes it much easier to handle than heavier, bulky cordless drills. The accessories included a large variety of tips, tape measure, battery, battery charger, nut driver, brushes, and very nice storage case. This is not a product for commercial use but works great for home use. I had previously purchased a Kimo Cordless Leaf Blower and have been pleased with the quality and performance of this item. I will not hesitate to consider other Kimo products for future purchase. Update: We were very pleased with the operation of this product over the past few months for our home projects. We have since purchased 2 more to give as gifts to family members. We know they will be pleased to receive them and will get much use from these drill sets. We would not hesitate to recommend this set for yourself or as a gift. ... show more

This is a good drill and does very well what it supposed to do. I do have a couple of suggestions for improvement though. This package needs a nice holder for drill bits and hex bits. Drill bits were sent in ziplock bag and not easy to carry (though the whole package has a very nice bag with pockets). Drill bits are stored in a weird plastic container. Its cumbersome to open and transport (if you don't want to drag the whole bag around). The last suggestion is regarding the battery. Even though the package does come with one battery, it needs to be removed to be charged (the AC charger and station are included). That means I have to remember to remove the battery every time I'm done and put it in the charger. Also I have to attach the battery every time I want to use the drill. I know I'm nitpicking but I feel that usability is super important in products like these. My suggestion is to create a station that would allow to charge the battery while it is inserted into the drill. Essentially you would put the whole drill in the charger, then remove it and go. Other than that is is a good product especially for the price. ... show more

O. M. GOODNESS! I am a do-it-yourselfer and home crafter. When my old powerful but mongongous rechargeable drill driver would no longer hold a charge, I was sad; it had been a gangbuster workhorse- but I found it is no longer being made. (It was also very heavy when it’s mammoth battery pack was in place - not ideal with my 63 year-old arthritic hands!) Realizing I definitely needed something lighter-weight, I hesitantly ordered the KIMO … and I absolutely love it! Not only did the battery pack charge in an instant, it’s lightweight and the entire drill fits comfortably in my hand - easy grip, well balanced and with powerful torque. An added bonus is the amount of diverse attachments that came with it - bits for drilling smooth holes to boring larger ones, a whole organizer pack of various screwdriver tips PLUS a manual handle adapter, a small-spaces flexible attachment [for dealing with odd angles], a tape measure, the charger, and several brush attachments - this is really SUCH a great deal for the price! It all comes in a nice, durable nylon canvas zipper case with handles. I DEFINITELY recommend this set for repair AND craft projects. I went through removing and installing a new suspension system for a friend of mine (both sides )with the same battery and still plenty of energy/charge in the battery at the end. It's a monster tool,not too heavy just right! I didn't hate use anything else removing the ball joints and arms
