    • On our second brush
We are on our second toothbrush. This first one stopped working after several months. I'm not sure if it's because of poor design, or if it's because it's been dropped and thrown by our toddler. This makes brushing his teeth bearable most of the time. He likes the cute little character and has a favorite vibration setting. He was afraid of the vibration at first. Battery life is long. I wanted to buy my son one of these u-shaped toothbrushes for a while now. He has autism and trouble brushing his teeth, but the big name one was too expensive. So I decided to try this one out. It has been great! Works well and he is actually excited to brush his teeth!

    • Autism-friendly, but not quite clean enough

My 6-year-old is autistic and hates brushing his teeth. He started to get loose teeth and the sensory issues were bad. It got to a point where he was covering his mouth, running away, crying, and screaming every night. My ability to wrestle him into submission is waning as he gets bigger and stronger, and it's not ideal to have brushing be like torture! I got this brush to make brushing less traumatic and more fun. And it worked! We watched some videos of kids using u-brushes, and he was excited to use it. He loves letters, so was thrilled by the idea of using a "u" shaped brush. I also told him to bite down on it like a shark, and aren't you glad you only have 20 teeth to brush instead of a shark's hundreds of teeth? The light makes it fun, and it's a lot shorter time to brush. Since it brushes all the terth at once, he doesn't get the anxiety and try to keep me away from brushing around his loose teeth. He will now voluntarily go brush his teeth. Game-changer. However, when I check his teeth after brushing, there's still a build up of plaque starting, so this brush doesn't do a good enough job getting his teeth clean. The bristles are too soft. I usually have him brush twice and even then, it still looks a bit gunky. Love the concept, but I'll probably be switching to the brand-name autobrush that looks like it has actual bristles, and not these soft silicone ones. ... show more

Definitely has small mouthpieces-they don’t reach all the way down or to the back of my kids mouth but they fit otherwise. We use one minute of the gaurd and one minute of the toothbrush attatchment to make sure it all gets clean. Bought 2, one is still working well-only charged like twice since we got them 2.5 months ago. The other stopped working about a week ago because water got inside somehow. Contacted the seller about warranty/replacements and they sent us a new one, hassel free. It arrived today-quicker than I expected. Not the best sonic brush, but pretty good for the amount you pay. ... show more
