The pockets hold the small toys between trips. There's a place for drinks and snacks. My granddaughter loved hers and took it home. The grandson doesn't like confinement, so he'd have no part of it, so the granddaughter uses his in my car. I wish the pink wasn't more expensive than the gray. Other than that, I have no complaints. We used it for a long road trip and it kept the 9 year old in the car preoccupied with coloring, activity books, crocheting, and more. When it was time to have a snack it was easy to put their items away and it worked perfectly for snacks and drinks. Easy to set up or put away.

Our family travels a lot for our kids’ sports. I have a 4 year old who needs to keep busy with out watching on our phones. I came across this product and it has kept her busy and not asking for our phones. It’s sturdy, especially because her car seat has two cup holders on each side so it balances it out evenly. The straps help to keep it all in place and it’s adjustable and fits all the way around her car seat. It holds lots of items, markers, colored pencils, coloring books, paper, water bottle, and other extra toys she packed in it. It is also a great food tray for snacks and on the go meals. I love the concept and of this. It makes road trips so much easier. However, the tray part is made from thick hard plastic and I was concerned that in a car accident it could be pressed against a kid and really hurt. I ended up cutting out the plastic (which was not easy because it was sewn in) and replacing it with a piece of cardboard that will bend in an accident. The design could be improved by making the plastic piece more flexible or assembled so that it could be removed and easily replaced with cardboard. ... show more
