With a very short explanation a 6 years old was able to operate the basic concepts of point and shoot, as well as the in-picture add-ons offered by the camera natively. This kit includes everything your child needs to begin snapping photos right out of the box. A microSD card, charging cable and neck strap; and also a microSD to USB adapter to copy the photos to a computer. The unicorn is a snap on piece that holds the camera. It could be removed if desired and the camera could be operated without that protection in a much smaller size, but with less ergonomy. Despite it's resolution, the camera needs a lot of light in order to make a good photo. The photos and videos outdoors are fine, but most of the indoor photos have limited contrast and are very grainy. This is a simple to use, fairly rugged compact camera. ... show more
