After my child broke our last tablet, I decided it was time to get one specifically designed for kids. It comes with an extra rugged protective covering which is a great savings over having to buy a case seperately. It seems responsive with a good picture. It comes with 32GB of internal storage, which is pretty standard, but you can expand it up to 512GB by buying a cheap SD card. It doesn't have the bells or whistles as an Ipad, but what child needs all that? That being said, I do think it is overpriced. I misread the description and thought it came with a large 14" screen. But it is only a 7" screen so is really overpriced! You can get a Kids edition kindle 7" tablet for less. But I wanted access to Google Play and not be stuck only with the Amazon App store. Being so expensive, I probably should have found something different, but my child already saw it and fell in love with it right away. And in hindsight, 7" is perfect for little hands. This is the first tab I brought for my toddler kids. Obviously they have liked it as their first kids tab. Although I am naming its tab but it’s 7 inch in size; pretty small but not bad for toddlers. The google play store and built in kids program is very helpful to involve them in educational content rather only cartoons. With this ram the video streaming and functionality is smooth without loading screen. We basically don’t use the camera so does not matter about the memory. Although the cover made it safe and suitable for kids use but overall a little heavier for kids. Probably it’s a little pricier with such features but not too bad deal! ... show more

This is a ice rugged tablet, ideal for kids. The case alone is probably worth $20. But for the specs, I think it is overpriced. It was my fault, but I thought this was a 14" screen, but it is a 7" screen with Android OS 14. But my daughter really loved it and she seems quite happy with it, and 7 inches is better for her little hands, so we decided to keep it. I could have gotten a kindle 7" tablet for less with double the ram and a better processor. I'm not sure why anyone would buy it at this price. But at least it comes with the Google Play store so I am not stuck with only the Amazon app store. So that's good. ... show more

Got this for my daughter for her learning apps. She has a speech and language processing disorder and needs a lot of learning tools that she uses at school. Not only does this manage all her apps without lag, but the battery lasts a really long time.
