I'd say my rough (or careless) kid broke the handle off in about 10 days of having it. In 3 month she broke the body (dropping it all the time, leaving where it's not supposed to be etc.) - broke screws off. SO after that every time she drops it - it was falling apart (see the second picture). Why did I give it 5 starts? Because despite all of that this thing still worked for few months without any problems. 5 months! For us it's a record! P.S.: if you have a kid like mine, make sure you have a warranty! Screen is grainy not able to use, I had messaged about this tablet a second time, was told to keep I could donate, throw it away or whatever and I would be issued the amount that I paid for. With that being said I have not seen no refund that was supposed to be put on a gift card, since that I have reordered the Amazon fire hd for kids and was going to use the gift card for part of that purchase. This product is amazing if you have a child who isn't destructive. It works well, not super fast, so not marketed towards teenagers or young adults who may need it for school, but for kids who watch videos or play small games it's an amazing and beautiful device for the price

I have bought MANY tablets because they all seem to break (software)...if my son doesn't break them first (hardware). We love the handle on this one. It doesn't work exactly like the other Android tablets with things that are normally standard...but it has been fine for now. Doesn't seem as sturdy as some of the thicker tablets but it has withstood a couple of drops...so perhaps it is sturdy. Definitely recommend purchasing the insurance. We bought it for our last few. Although we couldn't get help from them on the last one...it should've been covered so Amazon replaced it for us. ... show more
