I bought this tablet because I needed something basic to log my Parks On The Air contacts with a specific app that my Chromebook did not easily support. Being Android based, it uses the same App as my Google Pixel 7 with a much larger screen. The K12 copid over my app and settings from my phone so it also copied over my Logging App also. It is so much easier now to log those contacts than on my Pixel 7 which worked, but I like to have the laptop style hardware keyboard rather than the software keyboard of the Pixel that uses up much of the phone's screen. I did add a 128GB SD micro TF card to spend up the slugishness of the original operating setup. I did not need all of the RV & Navigating apps copied over from my phone so I deleted them also. I left on my Audible and Kindle Books as I accss them all in multiple places depending on what activies I am participating in. Overall I would by this tablet again, but it was so much better to get it as a Black Friday deal. ... show more

    • Don't waste your money. Billionaire? Still don't waste your money..
No manual except for other so-called K12 tablets, all with different instructions on pairing with Bluetooth, none of which work with this one (at least, none that I've seen),. So the external keyboard is a waste. Touch screen responsiveness is sometimes good, sometimes terrible. Battery life? Even with network-only location (GPS turned off), battery life is terrible. Start at 100% in the morning, play a few morning games (neurosurgeon advice after 3 brain surgeries in 2006), then sits most of the day with the screen off. By mid-afternoon, battery is either critical or down to 35% or so. Hardly what I'd call anything near acceptable battery life. Even with the big powerful CPU cores, it can get really slow sometimes, and you have to restart it. Totally UNSAT. Simply put, no how much money you have, don't waste it on this POS. ... show more

I love my laptop but it is old and slow. This is a cheaper and wonderful route to having a laptop. The keyboard is very nice and easy to use. Uses the same charging cord as the tablet, which is nice. The last time I owned a cheap tablet it was CHEAP. This one *kind of* flips the script. Its no iPad, but it works well! I started setup and soon realized this is a tablet geared toward children (maybe the "Children" writing on the side of the box should've tipped me off. Haha) But once I downloaded a boot-loader from the Play Store and deleted some bloatware, we're off to the races! I'm using this primarily to control a digital audio console for wireless in-ear mixes and this should fit the bill. The program I use for it (Mixing Station) is snappy, the touchscreen isn't half bad (it doesn't bend or flex inward when tapping, like older, cheap tablets do). The UI is a little laggy, but again, not an iPad. The overall construction is sturdy and functionality is good. I love that it comes with a case and screen protector - already installed! This tablet definitely seems like B-stock...Its last security update on the OS is from 2021...its 2024 and its on Android 11. Granted it probably wouldn't run so smooth on the NEWEST OS, but security updates would be cool to have. I just wish I could find a custom ROM to load on this tablet to at least shake the feeling that my Google account data is being harvested by a Chinese manufacturer, at least I used a burner account. All in all a good tablet for all of $35-$40 especially for the kids. Anything more than simple tasks, videos or apps are a no-go and "multi-tasking" is not in this tablets vocabulary. ... show more

I shouldn't expect too much from a $40 tablet, but I still don't feel I got my money's worth. I knew this was marketed towards kids, but I figured I could just remove the "kid friendly" app it used. It's using Android 11 which was prevalent 4 years ago. The display is horrible, the touchscreen is laggy and leaves much to be desired. Again, I understand this is marketed towards kids, but I wouldn't wish this horrible thing on them. The only reason I gave it two stars is, it turned on, it includes a decent case, and in a sense, it is useable, It will probably be used as a streaming device on occasions, but If you are looking at this I say stay away, spend a few more dollars and find something else! ... show more
