The package arrived shortly after I ordered it. As soon as my son saw it, he loved it. The style is great (doesn't look cheap) and it fits great on his wrist (6 years old). We left it charging overnight and the following day we set it up. The calling function worked fine and it had cute pictures for each contact (mom, dad, grandparents, siblings, uncle and aunt, and 2 friends). When he called me, I heard him clearly on my phone, and he could hear me just as clear on the watch. I was really impressed with how good the calling function worked. It comes with a micro SD card where you can store music and pictures. He was surprised that it even brought one song (Let It Go - Frozen) so that he could test it right away. He enjoyed the music and camera functions and it had quite a variety of games. The one thing was that shortly after he played around with it to get to know how it worked, a message would pop up and the watch would freeze. We had to remove the battery and turn it on to reset it. We contacted Meritsoar right away and they were quick to respond. They apologized for the malfunction and immediately offered a refund and a replacement. I am waiting for the replacement and will update my review once I receive it. My son loved his watch so much my sister now wants to get my nieces 2 pink ones for themselves. Complete waste of time and money. I bought this phone for the call feature. After several attempts at customer service calls (first I was told to call back in 2 days after my SIM card was activated, then I was shifted to another customer service number, hung up in twice. Tried again days later, shifted to multiple “support” personal, and finally Amazon customer service told me that this product has bad reviews and major issues and they would be issuing me a refund. Now I’m on the hunt for a smart watch that will make a receive calls and video chat, that hopefully works this time. This was such a frustrating process! ... show more

We love the basic features of the is watch phone for younger kids. We just wanted a way to get in touch with the kids when running a minute late for school pick-up or for them to let us know what time to pick them up from a play date without having to solicit the friend's parents for help. We did not want texting or anything more than the very basic gaming features offered on this option. We have bought several of these watch phones over the years. Recently, one had a cracked screen from being placed at the bottom of a backpack. I contacted the company to see if it's possible to replace just the screen and they sent us an entirely new phone. If you are looking for a "just okay" kinda watch for your kid, then this is it. Yes, you can call the watch while your child is away (range unknown) and your child can call you based on the preloaded phone numbers you designate but there still is no technical GPS on the watch. The watch design is a bit bulky for our soon to be nine year old, camera is on watch face too. To activate the calling feature you will need to order a SIM card, we did through Speedtalk Mobile via Amazon. The activation portion is a pain, but it could be worse. Battery life really depends on hold long the wearer of the watch plays with the games. There is not a way to override the sound on the games and it can be annoying. We have not uploaded music as it seems you would need to change the SIM card and that is just a pain. Overall, it's an okay watch. Better than spending a few hundred on a smart watch thru our cellphone carrier and wondering how quickly our son would lose it. I can think of worse ways to spend roughly $40. ... show more

Very happy with this watch. I purchased for my 9 year old daughter. It works better than I ever expected! The call sounds is perfect and and big screen works well for her. It’s easy to add contacts and easy for her to find them. Only issue was I was a little confused on where to put the SIM card and memory card and the directions were minimal on this aspect. I couldn’t find a picture but attached one to help. The SIM card goes on the left hand side and then the metal “flap” goes over it. Overall love this watch especially for the price. ... show more

On the screenshot there is written "DIAL" but when, after buying, getting the watch and realizing that there is no place for SIM card and starting checks, just that time, in the bottom of the product you can find "Don't support sim card: We must emphasize that this kids watch does not have a call function, So you don’t need to buy a SIM card for this. I hope you understand before buying." Maybe it is better to write in on the top of the page, so people can see.
