The package arrived shortly after I ordered it. As soon as my son saw it, he loved it. The style is great (doesn't look cheap) and it fits great on his wrist (6 years old). We left it charging overnight and the following day we set it up. The calling function worked fine and it had cute pictures for each contact (mom, dad, grandparents, siblings, uncle and aunt, and 2 friends). When he called me, I heard him clearly on my phone, and he could hear me just as clear on the watch. I was really impressed with how good the calling function worked. It comes with a micro SD card where you can store music and pictures. He was surprised that it even brought one song (Let It Go - Frozen) so that he could test it right away. He enjoyed the music and camera functions and it had quite a variety of games. The one thing was that shortly after he played around with it to get to know how it worked, a message would pop up and the watch would freeze. We had to remove the battery and turn it on to reset it. We contacted Meritsoar right away and they were quick to respond. They apologized for the malfunction and immediately offered a refund and a replacement. I am waiting for the replacement and will update my review once I receive it. My son loved his watch so much my sister now wants to get my nieces 2 pink ones for themselves.     • Phone wont work. DON'T BUY

This feedback also goes for Amazon as they do not check the suggested products that come along with the actual product. I wanted to buy a smart watch for my school going kid with a limited set of phone numbers where they can call just in case of urgency. Below are the observations so far: 1. The SIM DOES NOT work: I tried installing the SIM card after reading whatever instructions were given on one single leaflet and also going through the video in Amazon site. I tried multiple ways and finally ended up calling customer service only to find out that this watch only supports 2G and the SIM card which has been additionally purchased does not support 2G. secondly the customer service rep took pretty much every detail from my end barring my bank account PIN and I am not sure why. after keeping me in hold for 2 mins each for 3 times, ,he concluded that the SIM card wont support the watch. 2. Phone numbers cannot be edited: I put my number in there first. Then I thought to edit the number and put a 1 in front of it. Well you cannot edit the number whatsoever. If you accidentally put an incorrect number, then you are done. 3. Instructions are missing: The instructions on watch and the SIM are so minimal, that you wont be able to set it up by yourself without getting another human who set it up previously or without calling customer service. For all the parents who want something for their kids that also serves as a communicator, PLEASE DO NOT BUY THIS BRAND. there could be others who may fit your needs, but not this one. ... show more

Bought this for my 11 yr old daughter. Make sure you check what the coverage is with Speed Talk before you purchase it. That’s what I did. After reading reviews where it doesn’t work for some people I realized the coverage is important to check first. I wanted to make sure where I live had good coverage. If you have good coverage then definitely purchase it. The calls are clear. Very easy to use. Comes with charging cable (no charge block), add the SpeedTalk card to your purchase, choose a plan when you receive it from amazon. There’s no text messaging ONLY incoming and outgoing calls if that helps to choose a plan because I misread and thought there was texting on this watch but I was wrong. The only thing I wish they had more options of is screen wallpapers and ringtones. That’s just my personal preference. Other then that this is a great smart watch for a kid. ... show more

Never having a kids smart watch before it was a little difficult to set up instructions need to be more complete. Still dont know how to change a.m. to p.m. and other than mom dad contact dont know if you can enter names on other eight or change picture from male to female. The insides are a little delicate so be careful when inserting the SIM card and memory card. Bought speedtalk card with it that also was a little difficult to set up they want your credit card information even for one month but after getting Sim setup and activated you can delete the monthly charge although I don't know why you would it's only $5 a month. Remember this is a 2G network. Outside is built Well strap has plenty of holes for small wrists. Phone is easy to use once you know how calls are clear and crisp my eight-year-old grandson has no problem using all the features and loves his watch. UPDATE 9/16/20 WATCH BAND BROKE WERE HOLES ARE UNDER NORMAL WEAR. LOOKING IN HOW TO FIX/RELPACE IT AND WILL LET YOU KNOW ... show more

We love the basic features of the is watch phone for younger kids. We just wanted a way to get in touch with the kids when running a minute late for school pick-up or for them to let us know what time to pick them up from a play date without having to solicit the friend's parents for help. We did not want texting or anything more than the very basic gaming features offered on this option. We have bought several of these watch phones over the years. Recently, one had a cracked screen from being placed at the bottom of a backpack. I contacted the company to see if it's possible to replace just the screen and they sent us an entirely new phone. On the screenshot there is written "DIAL" but when, after buying, getting the watch and realizing that there is no place for SIM card and starting checks, just that time, in the bottom of the product you can find "Don't support sim card: We must emphasize that this kids watch does not have a call function, So you don’t need to buy a SIM card for this. I hope you understand before buying." Maybe it is better to write in on the top of the page, so people can see.
