I bought this for Christmas for my child he’s 5. I assume the age range would be 9 and under maybe older my niece is 9 and uses it as well. We love love love this scooter! My youngest loves her brother’s scooter (similar design to this one) so we tried to buy her a similar style in a girly color for Christmas. We ended up with a popular name brand and were shocked when it came without a brake & was impossible to ride with any speed without falling. We stuck it out for a year hoping it was an age thing but finally decided to get her a different one & are so pleased with this version! It balances great / stays steady when veering or turning and stops well with the back brake. She loves the bright lights & the quality is 1000% better than the Razor we had. After 2 months, a nut and washer near the bottom front fell off. To fix the scooter, I had to go to a hardware store and try a few nuts before I found the correct replacement part: M4 Nylon Lock Nut (this is Metric). You will need a 7 mm socket if you want to easily screw on that nut. Other than that, the Scooter has been working great. My kid loves it, uses every day. ... show more

Arrived earlier than expected. My son was so excited. He finally wore out his old scooter and I wanted to get him one that was similar and safe (3 wheels). This one is so much better than his old one because it has a relatively wider base. He can fit both his feet. I love that it comes in many different colors. My 5YO chose purple and he loves it.
