I couldn’t believe a drum kit would fit in the small box I received. To my dismay, there were, in fact, 4 small drums, a bass drum, cymbal, mounting brackets, drumsticks and a stool enclosed. My grandson’s father put these together and luckily he’s a former drummer and knew how these they go together. We didn't think there were instructions until about halfway through assembly when he found them on the box. Once assembled I honestly couldn’t believe how small it is. The stool looks like something a doll would sit on when on display. For reference, I am holding the chair and drum kit up with 1 hand in my pics. Assembled height is 21.3” per online description. In any case, my grandson is a super small 4 year old (can still fit in 2T except for length) and he is just about the perfect size to sit and play comfortably with this kit. I don’t think kids much bigger than him would be comfortable playing and I didn’t see a weight limit on the stool. With all that being said, he was absolutely thrilled when he saw the set. He immediately starting beating on the drums and before I knew it he was singing at the top of his lungs. We have no idea what song it was or what the lyrics were but not knowing the words didn’t slow him down one bit. He had a blast and so did we. As you can imagine this isn’t the highest quality item but the only issue we had was the unit wants to slide when using the foot pedal on the bass drum. Will have to find a way to keep it more stationary. I see this item is currently unavailable but if it comes back, and you have a little one, don’t let the small size of the drum kit prevent you from purchasing. Oh my gosh this little guy absolutely loves his drums!!! Sound is great and everything seems very well made, he beats on this thing constantly and it’s not showing any wear and tear!! Def recommend!!!

This is a toddlers set for kids four years and under. The chair is so tiny that my five year old can barely sit on the it. The top four drums are smaller than my hand. The instruction is not clear at all. I found out that the small parts has left and right marks, but it doesn’t tell me where it goes exactly. I didn’t find my that I attach to the wrong area until later time. It was so hard to take the part out of the drum. I had to use something that is thin metal and push the parts out of the drum. The picture is not very clear on the assembling. The sound of the drum is ok for beginner. The foot pedal seem to be made from cheap plastic. ... show more

I will admit this put me on my sister-in-laws' you know what list when it was given to her son for his birthday. Oopsy. Not really but I'll go along with it. But, and here's the thing: The birthday boy loved it. His father, who btw approved it, loves it. And, my husband loved it as well because it is so well constructed that, in actuality, it made it a steal at the price listed. Is this drum set the best quality? No. Do the Toms make different tones? Also, no. But are my twins have an absolute blast with this drum set! YES! The directions weren’t super clear but it is easily figure-out-able. Once this little set was up my girls spent over THREE HOURS playing and taking turns. The poor cymbal is dented so much but they are just loving it. I love that it’s introducing rhythm to them so hopefully they will have more rhythm than me. The best thing has been the taking turns and also watching my girls sing and try to drum along with the beat. Seriously, the noise is negligible compared to the peace of sharing and taking turns. ... show more

so, i love that this set looks like an official drum set for adults. my son, in the past, has played with toy drum sets form fisher price and other toy brands. they look like toys. this set is so beyond wht he’s use to. it took me some time to put it together because i thought it came with no directions. BUT the directions are on the bottom of the box. 🙄 why not on the back where you can actually see it 🤦🏽♀️ anyway, i was half way done and supper annoyed when i found them. very easy to follow. the quality is okay for a toy. the seat could be better made and is probably the cheapest part of the whole set. otherwise this is a really cool set. my son got this as a bday present for his 3rd birthday and he loves it!!!! ... show more
