Box was delivered in good condition and we had zero broken pieces after I unboxed everything so that was awesome. It took me 5 ish hours to put together by myself. The only part I got help with was putting the roof on because the braces used to attach the roof panels together is kind of flimsy and the panels will come apart of you aren't careful when you lift it. I found out the hard way but luckily nothing broke when one of the panels came off when I was trying to put the roof on myself. All of the parts are labeled so that helps a lot know where everything goes. The biggest advice I'd give is to pay close to the orientation of the panels in the instructions and keep a close eye on where all the holes should be. I messed up twice and had to go back and take something apart to flip it around so the holes lined up right. Besides that it's a pretty easy and straightforward thing to put together, it's just time consuming, but the kids love it! ... show more

This was a great buy!!! It is so cute and roomy and sturdy. Plus I didn’t have to put it together my s-i-l did. It did need a heavy coat of poly in the texas sun but grandkids love it.

We bought this house for our kids' birthday. I can't speak to ease of assembly as I had my very handy stepdad and my husband put it together. I think they had it assembled in about two hours. First, it's really adorable, and I like that you could customize it with paint and other things if you'd like. My kids love the door and the picnic bench attached to the side. It has been a really fun addition to our backyard. The only thing that is a bit frustrating is that the wood roof panels are already starting to crack and split, and we've only had this up for two months. It's in full sun for only a couple of hours, but we also live in a high desert climate, so the air is pretty dry. I'm not sure if I should have added some sort of protective coating to the top to help combat this, but it's a bit disheartening to see something that cost a good amount already cracking. ... show more

We purchased this as part of a holiday gift for our backyard. Like other reviews, the build for this was quite time consuming but not overtly challenging. The roof assembly and placement needs another person to make that easier, attempted to do solo but was easy with a little support. The materials are relatively solid, however some of the wood is on the softer side. Obviously this isn't a super premium playhouse, or you'd be paying a lot more for it. The kids LOVE it. Pros: I love the look and design of this little play house. The assembly is super easy, a chimp who can turn a screw driver should be able to put this together in an afternoon. Made from real wood, no mdf or other junk. Con: Really cheap hardware. I have had the playhouse for about a month. My daughter isn't even two years old, so her play is very gentle at this point; meaning I know she didn't break these screws. They all snapped at various "stress points" on the house. There are some joints, particularly corners, where a single screw is taking on a bit more stress than necessary. This is due to short pieces being butted up, presumably to fit in the flat pack box. My advice, take inventory of the hardware included, and go buy some quality screws of the same size before assembly. The included screws are garbage. ... show more

Bought for my daughters 3rd birthday, but I also bought this playhouse because it’s tall enough for my 6 year old to play inside with her. It took my husband and I a little less than 3 hours to put together. A power drill is a absolute must, it will take you triple time to put together by hand. Couple pieces missing and a couple pieces of the wood were split, but we made it work, thankfully my husband knows about carpentry and is very handy. Pretty sturdy wood but light enough to move if needed, with 2 people. Shipping was so fast, literally one day. All and all, a great purchase and not going to sweat on the small stuff! It took 2 grown adults 5-6 hours to assemble. 90% of the parts were labeled. Its super cute and seems very well made. We had bought the KidKraft kitchen awhile back and love it, so it was an easy decision to buy this play house. Their products seem very durable. The house is super cute and comes with curtains. We also bought bbq set play food, which makes my daughter love this even more! She is 3 years old and the house seems like something she can grow into a bit more (I was worried about other playhouses because the reviews say that it almost seems too small for a 2 year old). My only "non-positive" is that I do think it's a bit overpriced, but we knew that when we bought it. It's super cute, and looks exactly like it did online. I would highly recommend this product ** 2 month update - I see a little fraying on the wood but to be expected with it being wood and outdoors. Still no major issues! ... show more
