Description

Add an amplifier to nearly any radio with the KISLOC2 Stereo Line-Out Converter. Experience true sonic accuracy at any volume level, with all the sparkling highs and thunderous lows of your original audio. Unlike traditional LOCs, the KISLOC2 is designed without inductors to deliver a completely flat frequency response at all volume levels. Using nothing more than your factory speaker wires, the innovative KISLOC2 automatically converts the speaker signal into both an RCA signal and a powerful 100 milli-amp, 12-volt remote wire using DC offset. Powerful enough to turn on multiple amplifiers, the 12-volt remote wire delivers plenty of power without hunting for a switched 12-volt power source. Accepts up to 55 watts (16 volts) of input signal Fully compatible with standard radios and most smart radios Delivers up to an 8-volt output signal Flat 20Hz-20kHz frequency range at all volume levels Includes a powerful 100 milli-amp, remote turn-on wire. No 12V power source needed! LED indicator for DC offset turn-on Amplifier output of smart radio must have 60Ω impedance or lower. See dealer for details.

  • Worked perfect
I wanted to wire my subs into a factory head unit that I could not replace, so I went iwth this line output converter mainly because it was a brand name and had good reviews. Well I can say it lives up to its reputation, was fairly simple to install and I LOVE the remote wire feature, saved me a bit of work on the amp install. It also sounds very good, I wired it into the back deck speakers, doing to the line output converter, to the amp and then of course to the subs. A+ ... show more

  • Basic but effective
Surprised about how easy this is to use. Tedious to rewire existing lines but it's cost effective and works well.

  • Does exactly what its supposed to.
Seller shipped it quickly. Does exactly what its supposed to. Didn't use the remote turn on. Really like the quality and the flat frequency response this Kisloc2 provides. Sending signal to my Alpine S2-A60M which powers my Kicker Solobaric down firing 12" sub. Sounds fantastic. May be upgrading to the Keyloc in the future. This L.O.C. is small and is tucked away in the dash. Also this does not have any gains to set. Have this running mono off the Rt. Rear + and Lt. Rear - off the factory stereo. Wired the white/gray solid combined and white/gray stripped combined. Works great. Would absolutely recommend these. ... show more

  • Works well enough
I spent a little more money to get a quality made piece by a brand that's been around in the industry forever. Seems to be built fine but probably no better than some at cheaper prices. One of the reasons I purchased this particular piece was because the remote turn on lead was built in. It doesn't work. A little disappointing but other than that it works well enough ... show more

  • Works good
My car has a factory radio, it's a good one too, so I purchased this and some rear speakers plugs, and unplugged the wires from my 6x9s and plugged them into this product with some connectors, and the light came on, so I used the remote wire to my amp, and it is worked. So I didn't need to run a wire to my fuse box for remote. And my 5 channel amp runs my New 6x9s 2 rear door speakers, and 1 12, nicely. This product is very much worth the money. In fact id rather buy this hook this up then run RCA wires from a radio under the carpet, under the seats ,, so much easier, much more simpke. We're talking about kicker here ppl 😆 ... show more

  • Easy install and works as expected
Been using this for a few days for several hours. So far so good. It was easy to hook up and has performed just as expected. I’m not surprised. I’ve always had good luck with kicker.

  • Issues
Don't know if I got a bad product, I would assume so because the brand is a trusted brand, one I have used many times and this item seems to have lots of good reviews. Hooked up to a kicker Bassstation 10" sub box with built in amp. Ran all new cables, sub would not fire. I verified power, ground, and rca cable resistance, all under 0.3 ohms, so we'll within spec. Light illuminated, on rca adapter and sub enclosure, but zero output from sub itself. Wired my sub directly to rear speakers for signal impulse, and the sub fired as it should. Verified output on rca cables just to be sure, and signal was good. I did not want to splice into my speaker wires in my truck, which is why I purchased the rca converter box. However, it did not convert the signal, zero output on speaker wires with verified input. Damaged or bad product from factory. I would return it, but I threw it away out of frustration. Still no hate for the brand, will continue to use their products, however, this item was not QA'd appropriately, as it did not function as designed. Still left 3 stars because shipping was fast, and again, this company has never let me down before this situation. Hopefully no one else has the same issues, and if they do, hopefully they don't throw out the item so they can get a refund, haha. ... show more
