Style: Brushed Nickel Standard Faucet
I was pleasantly surprised at not only the quality of the faucet, but also the quality of the packaging and instructions, and how well the company appears to stand behind its products. The faucet is very nicely packaged, without a lot of extraneous paper inclusions and plastic bags. The faucet comes simply packaged in a specially made foam container in the box, along with the weight for the pullout and a small bag containing the installation gaskets and lock nut. The instructions are a single sheet of paper and are very clear in good English. A lifetime warranty is included and may be activated on their website with the Amazon order number. Installation is easy. In fact, it is much easier than with many high end faucets. Many high end faucets use a large hex lock nut to fasten the faucet body to the countertop, and it is typically very difficult to adequately tighten the nut in a cramped space, even with the special tool designed for this purpose, and with time, such faucets become loose and you have to tighten it again. This faucet uses a locking nut which you first hand tighten as best you can, and then you turn two screws with a screwdriver to get the faucet nice and tight on the countertop. It does not seem that this faucet will loosen (but even if it does, it should be relatively easy to retighten using only a screwdriver). The faucet hot and cold water lines have 3/8" FIP stainless steel connectors, so you might need adaptors if your supply valves are not 3/8" MIP. The lines are nice and long, obviating the need for any extension flexible tubing that may have been used previously. Once installed, the faucet looks great and functions perfectly. The finish (in our case brushed nickel) seems well done. Of note, it is possible that the faucet pullout hose and weight could become stuck or partly obstructed by items under the sink or pipes. If this happens, you can use a so-called "Hose Management System" from Moen, which is nothing more than a plastic cylinder used to isolate the hose from other items.     • Now a 5-Star. Really like the new faucet – it's a decent faucet at a much lower cost.

------------------------------------------------------------------- UPDATE: Excellent Customer Service Faucet nozzle started acting up less than 1 yr after purchase. Not good. But vendor replaced it w/o any hassle. They requested a video to show what was going on. I did & they quickly sent out a replacement. Concerned that this might happen again in another year they responded that they will cover their products for life. Good to know! ------------------------------------------------------------------- I had a Delta Touch that finally ‘gave up the ghost’ after 13 years, but in this challenging economy I wanted to replace it w/something decent but at a much lower cost. I found this one on Amazon on sale & took a chance. Pros: 1. It was very easy to install - which was a BIG plus compared to other styles. 2. Looks just as nice as the Delta. 3. Actual water control & fan spray are nicer than the Delta. Cons: 1. But the big problem was it did not have the magnet in the nozzle head, like the Delta has, which is used to hold the head back in place after retracting the nozzle when done. 2. Instead, its design is to use a heavy rubber fat cone that attaches to the hose below the sink. That’s the weight that helps retract the hose & hold it in place. That’s not the big problem. The BIG problem is that the weighted cone BANGS around on all the other drain pipes below the sink as it’s pulled out, as well as, on retraction. So, for a beautiful faucet, its sound upon use was annoying/degrading/unfinished/unprofessional for what looks like it should be a professional high-grade unit. My situation might be more crowded because I have a double kitchen sink, but I believe that anyone would experience some of the same problems w/a single kitchen sink. GOOD NEWS. Immediately contacted the vendor thru Amazon messaging upon installation & experiencing this issue. They’ve been nothing short of extremely responsive in trying to resolve the issue. They had me send pics to show the hose & weighted cone in relation to the drain piping underneath. I mentioned how Delta solved the problem w/a magnetic head. I suggested that they either put a magnet in the head or get some kind of sleeve that would enclose the weighted cone hose so it wouldn’t bang into the drain pipes. Shortly after they came back recommending the “Moen 159060 Pullout/Pulldown Hose Management System (Hose Guide)” https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0088X7S4C/ & told me that they’d reimburse me for that guide. Just to then give an honest review of what happened. Well, I installed it today & it worked!!! Sounds much much better. No more banging around! NOTE: The Moen guide is a tall clear plastic cone w/a hole near the top that connects to a hose connector they provide. It’s designed to be an easy install, but it wasn’t that easy working around all the double drain piping under my double sinks. But, it was doable. HINT: The only suggestion I have for anyone installing the guide is to use some heavy 2” wide clear shipping tape around where it attaches to the hose connector to secure it in place so it can’t slip off. When you get under there you’ll understand why I did that. ... show more
