This is my new favorite casual, wear anytime watch. It's solid but not heavy, feels great on and looks awesome. The face is more of a dark green than some of the images that make it look black, but I think it looks better this way.

    • Solid Mechanical Watch!
I use this for my work watch. I love everything about this watch. Easy to read dial, love the homage/style to the old field watches issued to the military back in the day. The band is actually of nice quality, i thought i would need to change it out but I'm not going to. Keeps very accurate time for a mechanical, I lose about 1 sec a day give or take which is fantastic. The only real downside to me is the water resistance, for this watch to have a solid caseback and sapphire crystal, I would expect at least 100m for this price but aside from that, that's my only real complaint. I was originally looking for a vintage Hamilton, but ultimately decided to buy new and glad I did. Has a great look and is pretty durable. Yes, it has to be wound every day but that's easy if you wear it every day. It does have a hacking feature so you can stop and start to synchronize the time easily. I bought a NATO strap to go with it, but honestly like the canvas one it came with better. Would make a nice gift for a dad, brother, or friend. ... show more

The product performs as expected. Have not tested water resistance. I showered with it once, and all is good. Just ensure the crown is fully screwed in. The crown is a bit big, but it does not bother me. Comfortable to wear and easy to read. Lumination is good in the dark.

Beautiful Pilot watch, it’s a perfect travel/ adventure companion, if you like mechanical watches you will love this, super light weight, nice canvas / leather wrist band, mate finishing and green olive dial with date and12h and military 24h numbers, pretty decent luminance after exposed to light that stands for 10 hours of darkness, (this watch appeared in Pearl Harbor Movie used by the pilots AKA Ben Affleck) The only pitfall is that this is not a 100mt water proof, is a 5bar so stands for showers and soft and quick immersion, but I will keep it since I love it! ... show more

Really great field watch. Accurate and comfortable. I wear it every day for my work watch and the crystal is exceptionally scratch resistant. The only downside is the night luminosity isn’t all that bright. Definitely worth the money.

My watch winds, but the fingers on the dial do not turn. I have called Jomashop 3 times now. 1st call I was told sorry you will have to go through Amazon for the warranty procedure... OK... Amazon gives me the sellers (Jomashop) number which I already called. So I call again.. lady can't find my purchase order an eventually hangs up on me. So... 3rd time is a charm, I hope anyway. Nope.. 3rd person cannot find my purchase order an finally says "we have a person who deals with Amazon purchases an they will send you an email y to continue this process." Well its been 2 days an I have yet to see an email. I'm to the point I don't want warranty. I want a refund!! Less than 6 months an the watch breaks and I'm pulling teeth to get a 2 year warranty coverage work done to try an get it fixed. Get it together or give me my money back!! ... show more

Overall I love the watch! I spent a LOT of time looking for the right field watch. I had owned a Hamilton Khaki field watch 30 years ago...quartz and while I loved the look, the quartz movement wasn't the best and it eventually succumbed to some moisture issues. For the last 10 years or so I wore a Timex 1854 T-Series which looked great but had an electrical short in the indiglo thing. I specifically wanted something rugged and with some vintage credibility. 24 hour markings would be ok, if they are subtle..,the point in a simple, rugged analog watch is to be able to read at a glance. And I definitely not want something that looks like a Rolex knock off. Hard these days. Very pleased with the fit and finish of the crystal. Crown and lugs could be touch smaller/tighter. The case thickness is a great balance of thin and chunky...a nice matte finish. The sweep of the second is not as crisp as some more expensive movements, but is still pleasing. Night time luminescence is just fair. I know the description says the face is green and many other reviewers have complained that photo is misleading as it looks black, but the fact is the dial is sort of a dark greenish gray? In bright sunlight it has the same tone as the strap, but most of the time you'd be hard pressed to tell if its black or gray or dark green. Its dark enough that the white markings read with high contrast. ... show more
