Metal feels like playdoh. Opposed to the old OEM tensioner which actually completely snapped under load after 200k miles, this one rounded out instantly as soon as force was applied to get the belt on. The dampener requires more force than the metal can stand. It rounded instantly. Genuine honda tensioner tool was used. Plus you need two people to get a belt on with how hard this thing is to budge. Ended up having to used a pry bar to get the belt on, not ideal. Belt snapped 3 months later with not even 2k miles on it. Chineseum pot metal product. STAY AWAY. Buy OEM or a different source at least. Update September 2023: It didn't even last a year and I drive under 6k miles a year. Garbage. The bolt holding it to the engine snapped. THANK GOD it only snapped partially so I could loosen it. ... show more
