I can’t say enough about this machine. It makes me happy every time I look at it. It’s quieter than my Duo or Classic were, and holds more water. It doesn’t take up a lot of space on my counter as it’s more compact than my old machines were. There are a couple of minor cons; first, the tiny bit of spatter that it creates does show more on the grey plastic plate behind your cup so a little more wiping down is required and second, the adapter that you use to brew your own ground coffee or tea (non-pods), requires you to pop out the current basket that comes with the machine, to install the adapter. If you use only ground coffee or lose leaf tea bags, it’s no big deal. Just leave the basket out and use the adapter every time. But if you switch off between pods and fresh ground, it can get to be a bit of a pain. I circumvent that issue by using a steeping cup for my husband’s tea bags and pods for my coffee. Overall, I love this machine more than any other Keurig I’ve owned. Another reviewer videoed the carafe jiggling. If you push it down until it clicks in, it won’t jiggle. I’ve had mine for a few weeks now and just love it. No problems. ... show more

RECOMMENDATION: Big Thumbs up – you actually get more out of each coffee pod with this new coffee maker THE GOOD: 1. Keurig replaced the water boiler in older units with a new heat-on-demand system that only heats water as it is brewing the coffee. This solves one of the biggest problems with the old units – they had to keep water hot all the time so they bled heat/energy and thus were expensive to operate. That completely goes away with this new design. 2. There is a new injector system that punctures the top of the pod and injects the hot water into the coffee grounds in the pod. The number of injectors increases from 1 to 5. The net effect is that the water is better distributed throughout the grounds and thus you get more coffee out of each pod. The coffee that I brew through this new unit using the 8oz and ‘Strong’ setting (see below) is the same strength as what I used to get on my older units on the 6oz setting. 3. The water reservoir can be positioned to the side or rear of the unit, which is good for fitting into narrower spaces. 4. There is a ‘Strong’ setting what slows down the brewing process to get more flavor out of the pods. I love this as it gets more coffee out of each pod. 5. There is also an ‘iced’ setting for making iced coffee by actually brewing over ice, but have not tested that setting. THE BAD: 1. The first couple seconds when the brewing starts, the coffee stream coming out of the maker is mostly just regular water and not coffee yet. That is because it takes the heat-on-demand system a few seconds to get hot enough to start actually start brewing coffee. That means that you can’t yank the coffee cup out from the unit after the first half of the brew cycle to get just the strongest coffee and thus the Keurig equivalent of an expresso. ... show more

I bought this for my husband. He loves strong coffee and really likes the feature that allows the coffee to be brewed stronger. We’ve had the coffeemaker about three weeks. So far it has worked very well. We’ve hosed several family dinners. Each guest that has used the coffeemaker has been pleased with the features and enjoyed the coffee it makes. The ability to station the water reservoir on the side or in the back is very convenient. The reservoir is easy to remove to refill. [The Good] Machine: The brewing is fast and makes good home-brewed coffee. Especially with the "Strong" mode and "6oz" option, you can taste strong coffee with different flavors easily at home Water Tank: The water tank is spacious, and allows you to make enough cups of coffee for a full-day use. So you do not have to go back-and-forth to kitchen to refill for every cup you made Brewing: Most brewing machine in market gave 8oz to 12oz, which gives me a flavor less than desirable. The 6oz option may be important if you prefer strong taste coffee [The bad] Coffee pods: Some coffee brands only make pods for Keurig / Nesspresso, so I would recommend you to check out the flavour you like and whether the coffee pods fit your own preference before you make you decision De-scaling: THIS IS IMPORTANT ! Although the product description did not tell you, Keurig machine have a "de-scaling" light, which would turn on automatically to ask you to clean it up. Although cleaning coffee machine is a recommended practice, there is chances that the De-scaling light would not turn-off even even after you follow the cleaning instructions. The consequences is that you can no longer make coffee once the de-scaling light is on. I have tried to repeat the cleaning process with running few bottles of distilled water, cleaning solutions, and the Descaling light still remain ON after 9 months of cleaning that I do daily/weekly. [Final Verdict] This is an excellent machine and produce rich flavor coffee when it functions. Problem starts when the "descaling" light turns on. Once it turns-on, you have to follow the instructions to perform cleaning process. For my own situation, after 2 or 3 times of descaling, the descaling light refuse to turn-off again. The descaling detection appear to be very sensitive, and there would be chances that descaling light do not turn-off even after cleaning the coffee machine according to instruction. There is NO option to manually turn-off the descaling light. Recommend to visit Youtube and search for descaling instructions and read the user comments. Appear this problem has been encountered by Keurig users. This appears to be a potential product design defect, so buy at your own risk ... show more
