  • Much less expensive than feeding raw diet. Great for dogs with IBD or sensitive tummies
Size: 24.2 Pound (Pack of 1)
My great Dane has IBD and requires kibble that does not contain grains. I did not want to go to the traditional grain free, because it has so much legume fiber- up to 45% and causes HCM and in other dogs besides giant ones! This is 87% real chicken not by products and the rest is legume. It has made so that my boy does not have continuous diarrhea that he gets from any other food including prescription ones for IBD. I love this food and it has saved my boy from getting on a bunch of prescriptions to keep him from having diarrhea vomiting gas etc. he has put on so much weight. Because it is concentrated protein you don’t have to use nearly as much dog food as you do with regular dog food. My boy weighs 130 pounds, And I only feed him 4 cups a day. He used to eat 7 cups of regular kibble. I was feeding him a raw diet because it was all he could handle. That cost me $225 a month. Keto naturals is about $96 a bag, when I get it monthly, and he goes through a 24 lb bag every three weeks. Much less expensive than feeding raw and he has better results with his stools. I love love this food! My boxer thinks it taste like candy and I have to make sure they are fed separately! ... show more

  • No more seizures
Size: 4.2 Pound (Pack of 1)
Update: My dog has been on this food for 4 or 5 months now with no seizures, not a single one. He’s super energetic and his coat is super soft and shiny. He had been losing the fur on his ears and chest, but it’s all grown back now. I added in a salmon oil supplement for him, too. I wouldn’t risk switching to another food. He’ll be eating Ketona for as long as it’s around. My min pin started having minor seizures after eating anything with a higher carb content. While the vet wanted to start him on hardcore meds that had tons of side effects, I thought I’d try switching him to a low carb diet first. Since starting on this food, he hasn’t had any seizures or digestive upset. He loves the kibbles and looks forward to meal time. We will definitely continue buying this great food!! Just as an FYI, we feed him small chunks of cold coconut oil, hard boiled eggs, boiled chicken, and cheese for treats now since most commercial dog treats are high in carbs. ... show more

  • Limited ingredients and Dog enjoys it!
Size: 4.2 Pound (Pack of 1)
My dog who needs to lose some weight really loves this food! It’s pricey, but the limited ingredients are right for him! Because of the price I’m unable to make it his only kibble, but he enjoys it as a topper. I also love how it’s smaller bits! The smell is pleasant and not at all off putting!

  • Really tiny kibbles!
Size: 24.2 Pound (Pack of 1)
Well it just arrived. I'm trying it on my dog who has a chronic skin yeast infection & lately it's been getting worse, & cutting carbs a bit, along with medicated baths & mousses, isn't helping so I decided to go a little further down the low-carb road. A few people in the comments mentioned that it helped this condition, so I'm trying it. I gave him his first taste of it, half & half with his old food, & he went bananas, he loved it. The thing I hate so far is that the nuggets are practically as small as grains of rice. I looked all over the bag for the writing I had apparently missed when I ordered it, like "perfect for teacup poodle" or "your toy Yorkie will love it." But no. It just says "adult dogs." You can fit 4 onto a dime. You decide. I'll probably keep this bag since I really want to try this type of diet & don't have time or energy to do homemade (BTDT with another dog), & this seems to be the only food that really fits the bill. But good heavens it's tiny. ... show more

  • Tons of research - best find for low carb!!
Size: 24.2 Pound (Pack of 1)
Vet wanted my diabetic dog on Hills or Royal Canin…this has more protein, more fiber, and less carbs! And count/look at the ingredients (far different!), pricing for volume of a bag isn’t much different or higher, but in my opinion, you get what you pay for. Side note…even his poop is well formed and the best it’s ever been! ... show more

  • Don't be fooled, doesn't work
Size: 4.2 Pound (Pack of 1)
My dog has been diabetic for 2 years and 11 months. I've tried it all, this stuff is a joke! His blood sugar didn't go down any. I check it twice a day and give 2 shots of insulin. This dog food caused pancreatitis in him twice with it's high fat content 16%. Just buy kibbles and bits mini bites at your local store, and feed it along with boiled chicken breast, you can add a shake of seasoning to it. I feed scrambled egg mostly whites in the morning with a slice of turkey bacon. Vet didn't think he would live a week and it's been nearly 3years. If you have a diabetic animal please, please buy a testing kit, massage there ear fold back a prick, once you find the correct spot on the ear it's easy to test. Blood sugar goes up and down, even eating the same portion at ever meal. Might be the same for 1 week then it goes crazy. You have to test. But I promise this dog food is a waste of money it looks just like trout food that you throw in a pond, even smells like it. ... show more

  • Have Bought Multiple Times, Mixed Feelings, Inconsistent
Size: 24.2 Pound (Pack of 1)
Not sure how I feel about this product. I want to like it but the trust isn't quite there. The last few bags have each had about 3 random pieces of another brand's kibble in it. I'd love to know where supposedly in the US this food is being made/at what facility, and who they share it with. Prescription brands such as Royal Canin for example follow strict protocols such as not allowing cross contamination to happen and truly using what the label says is in the bag due to reasons such as allergies. (I've learned this very well via research, my vets, and trial & error with one of my dogs who has severe allergies). Also, Ketona's website ingredients and ingredients on their bags were mismatching for quite some time. And finally the last few bags have also given my dog awful gas and some loose stools. Again, I wonder what's really in the bag. I'm considering switching my dog with cancer over to the RC prescription diet even though it does have a little more carbs; at least I'll know for sure what's in the bag, it's pretty much the same price as Ketona which is overpriced, and many of the ingredients are higher quality. We'll see after she finishes up this current bag. ... show more
