I just assembled this yesterday - super easy! The written instructions along with the QR code visuals made it simple for me with a little help from my 9 yr old grandson to put this together in 45 mins. Great big storage container. Won't rust or rot. Snapped together. Took me like 15 minutes to fully assemble. It does have a place for a lock of you need that. Large storage capacity and things inside are staying dry when it rains

I mainly got this storage box to put away my kid’s bouncy house. It’s a larger bouncy house/water park and it’s a pain to put away each time. And I also have a German Shepherd that will occasionally destroy things when we are not home. I didn’t want to risk it any longer, so I got this for storage.     • Deck storage container that does the job

We have a lot of deck furniture pillows and this container holds them all. It is waterproof, which is great. We also use the container as a table while grilling or an extra bench for sitting. It truly can hold the weight described. It was easy to put together. My only complaint is that the top doesn’t completely shut. I was looking for a full seal when closed, and we didn’t get that. The container has the ability to add a lock. This was our work around for the flimsy top. A lock will keep the container fully shut. I am still giving it 4 stars because it is large and versatile. I just expected a better made product for the price (one that closes completely). ... show more

Looking for a replacement for a $120 bin that I bought from Lowe's, that started to break apart in the assembly process, I found this and, liking the aesthetic and the advertised storage area, I waited for it to go on sale to pick it up. Upon arrival, I found that the plastic construction is very lightweight, but seems to have reinforcement in all the right places to make it somewhat durable. Certain pieces have a flimsy feel to them, but I have no idea if they will be put under the stress necessary for them to fail. The assembly is incredibly easy. The majority of pieces snap together like a Lego brick, and the remainder of necessary parts are held together by about a dozen screws. IT DOES NOT COME WITH A SCREWDRIVER, SO BEAR THAT IN MIND. It took less than a half hour for it to go from unopened delivery box, to fully assembled storage box. One thing that put me off was that there was a warning stating that the interior floor panel was only designed to hold approximately 75 lb of weight. Given that I intended this to hold some tools and small pieces of heavy equipment, I then had to be very careful about how and where I placed them. In summary, it looks good and feels sturdy, but I feel like I'm going to have to be careful with what I store inside of it. I bought this in 2019 and it's still LIKE NEW. It has been through 5 wisconsin winters now and it's held up better than I could have ever imagined. It's not faded, we've NEVER had any critters inside and the wheels are fabulous when moving. It's great for extra seating and has SO MUCH SPACE inside. We store 4 big cushions as well as 4 slightly smaller back cushions as well as 2 foldable side tables and it all fits perfectly. If I ever need another one, I'm ABSOLUTELY buying another one of these!! ... show more

    • Don't believe the "easy to assemble"

I ordered three of these Keter outdoor storage boxes and wanted to buy from a company with a good reputation for quality and the box had to be waterproof and not allow water into the box. I bought the 150 gallon box which is 61" long. IMO they are "easy" to assemble if you are handy and have no difficulty assembling large pieces such as this. It was so frustrating attempting to assemble the first box I ended up hiring an experienced handyman who put all three of the 150 gallon boxes together in 1 hour at a very reasonable cost. I have a larger storage box ordered and plan to have the same handyman assemble it since he CAN do the job in 15--20 minutes. The instructions for assembling one of these storage boxes shows the steps but no text to explain what you are supposed to do in words rather than mere drawings. Keter has a very good reputation for quality and durability but in direct sunlight for years pictures in reviews show some fading of the darker colored boxes. An advantage of these boxes is that they are very versatile---you can sit on them for extra seating, use them as a table, store things you don't have room for in your house, store outdoor sports equipment and cushions plus you can put a strong padlock on the front to keep the lid from opening in strong winds, keep children from climbing into the box and to deter theft. One review I read before buying the box said if the box is in direct sun the top gets hot and suggested you put a waterproof cushion on top for sitting on the box----I bought a 59" waterproof outdoor cushion for the top. I would have preferred to have the location for the padlock to be on a side or the back rather than the front to hide the padlock from view. Two or three people can sit on the top, you can stand on it, it is very stable and made well. I highly recommend this storage box, it is a good value for the price. NOTE: If you decide to hire an experienced handyman to assemble the box be aware that the cost to hire someone varies considerately---three people responded to my ad---one wanted $80 each; one would do it for $60 each and the one I hired charged me $75 ($25 each) to put all three together. ... show more
