One of the most significant investments of the year - But a happy first time mattress buyer!

The media could not be loaded. I would rate this mattress similarly to the average review at 4.5 stars! This is one of the most significant purchases of the year despite its simplicity. The wrong mattress can be a true pain to live with - and this is something that could significantly impact quality
of life. Being the first mattress I have ever purchased new, I knew it wouldn't be easy. At this point, I had developed significant back pains from sleeping in a bad position on an old mattress of questionable worth. I had always been lucky with mattresses but in this case, I was badly in need of a new one. I chose Kescas because it ticked all the right boxes; it was a hybrid type with good side support and back support. It was less expensive than pure foam but performed admirably for the price. I do have two complaints as they make it seem as if the mattress is either produced here in the USA or Mexico, but the box clearly says Made in China. This isn't really an issue but misleading. The other complaint is that the edge is quite soft for sitting. I waited the full 72 hours before using the mattress and the first few nights were the best sleep I had in ages. The mattress is definitely comfortable, and although I wouldn't describe it as perfect, it really helped relieve a lot of the back pain I had suffered as a result of sleeping on an old spring mattress for a year (I do get some slight lower back pains but nothing like I used to). I do feel perhaps it could have better support for stomach sleepers, but being that they need very firm mattresses unsuited for side sleepers I can't knock the mattress for that. The quilted Euro-top is good quality and well-stitched. I did have an expensive king-sized foam mattress before and I would describe the Kesca mattress as being similarly capable in terms of sleep and comfort. I would have preferred a pillow top, but the Euro top is a more durable design. The corners sagging slightly is apparently a limitation of the design and is normal. Pros: Fantastic value Well-made mattress Good quality quilted top Great support for back and side sleepers. Well-supported overall, especially in the middle. Cons: Not exactly lacking in edge support since I can't imagine sleeping that far out to the edge, but is a bit soft for sitting. Bit flimsy when lifting and moving around. I would say overall that the mattress had been a good purchase and there isn't very much to dislike about it, especially given the price. Relieved back pains about as much as the 1000 dollar foam mattress I used to have which is saying something! Finally, I have noticed that the tendency to want to stay in bed all day has increased since buying the mattress which is crazy but true! I would recommend it.

Great mattress and great value

We received this mattress on the shipping date promised. I opened it on the bed and it expanded quickly to its proper size. There is NO smell at all with this mattress. I laid on the mattress and it has a very nice supportive feel and yet it is a medium softness. My granddaughter slept on it and real
ly loved the mattress. As far as the side support I see no problem with it. This mattress actually feels close to the double pillow top king size mattress that we just spent $1400.00 on. If you are in need of a quality mattress that offers support but also want a softer feel when you lay down I would recommend this mattress. I am very happy with this purchase and I agree with the positive reviews.

It was a great value. I needed a new mattress. I like the fact it was made in the USA. For us, we have back issues, it was just what we needed. Not too soft nor too hard. My husband like this mattress.

I’ve only ever had mattresses straight out of the store or warehouse, so I was very out of my element when picking out this bed, but I’m very impressed! Since it was my first, I didn’t really know what to expect but I still had high expectations & hopes. Packaging was really great & (very tight) whic
h made it heavier than what it actually was, so it’s definitely crucial to follow the instructions guide on how to place & open the mattress so there’s no injury or mishap. (Once you start to slice away at the plastic covering, be careful as you get closer to the mattress, it’ll slowly start to expand then it’ll just explode right out & fast, so cut with care 💕) No unpleasant smell upon unboxing or unwrapping, extremely easy setup, (comes with instruction sheet, greeting envelope, and cutter for outer plastic). The support & firmness is great & just as expected, and it sleeps so comfortably! Also only took a full 48 hrs to fully expand for me. Very satisfied with this purchase & if at any point, there’s wear & tear sooner than I’d like, I will definitely buy another! Thank you so much!! 💕☺️

Bought this bed for the spare room, and it is nice for the price. Note that it is not made in the USA but made in Korea. My son slept on it recently and said that it was comfortable.

Most Impressed with this mattress

I was impressed at how easy it was to unpack, a plastic cutter was supplied to enable ease of opening without damaging the mattress. Use of this mattress has helped ease my hip and knee pain and I find I am sleeping better. I would recommend this mattress for comfort.

Buy a 3 inch foam mattress topper. It's a good deal and it does look nice and clean. It was easy to set up and I appreciate that. But it's definitely a hard mattress, my hips hurt when I am sleeping.
