  • Keys stiff and uncomfortable to use
I was in the market for a full size keyboard with all standard PC-AT keys like the "original". This did, and it seemed like a good fit. But when I opened the box and tried the keys, they are all very stiff. When I get going on some project I may be on a keyboard 12 hours a day, so comfort is important. These keys are just too hard to type, and they make a bit of noise, too, when typed. The maker needs to work on quieting things down and reducing the typing effort. I am also disappointed that there is no on/off switch. Surely one could be added somewhere that was easy to get to and easy to use, that would not increase the cost much. I get up often from my chair while typing and have to "grab" the keyboard and put it somewhere out of my way. Without an OFF switch, I might inadvertently press some keys and cause problems with any open application I might have been typing into. I think Kensington is a basically good company, but they can do better than this. I hope they do someday. ... show more

  • Always trust Kensington
Used to use their USBs back starting in 2012 and loved the company ever since. Always reliable, fair price too, not premium but definitely better than amazon basics or basic logitech.

  • Only had for a month and it’s already starting messing up. 😡
It stopped working liking it was having issues determining which buttons I was pushing and then would starting putting the same letter over and over. Also I am 6 days past the return window. 😡

  • DOA but the seller made good!
This is more of a review of the seller as the product was used and DOA. I contacted the seller and they refunded my money and I din't even have to return the product. I DID wright a review on Kensington's website because this keyboard has no way to connect the keyboard to the dongle and there is no lights to show it is powered on. After writing the review Kensington refused to publish it because they said it "didn't meet their guidelines for publication" even though I was very polite and used no bad words. I will never buy a Kensington product because of that. ... show more

  • yeah, most of the critics' reviews were correct
I gotta agree with many of the people who commented...it can be really annoying. I mean, it seems like a good keyboard, i really like the no spill thing, and that part doesnt seem to make it hard to press or anything like some of the old rubber pad ones did. But two things, one, that there really are keys that just don't want to press at random. And I haven't really even found problem ones, it's almost like just once in a while a key doesn't want to work. It doesn't have to do with how hard you press, it's just not responding once in a while. Two, that dumb small shift key on the right does in fact realllllllly annoy me. For me it's not the relocation of the backslash, and it's not the size of the shift key (and i do know real keyboarding), its that one of the only times I use the right shift (which happens a good amount of time) is to use the question mark. And ohhh man, the 2/3 sized shift plus the backslash, move the question mark over just a little bit and I miss it ALL the time. I actually took off the button to the one key to try and train my fingers to reach further left and nope, still pisses me off every time. And using it a lot for numbers and finances, its really not accurate enough to make sure you dont miss a number here and there with the occasional key not pressing. Sorry. I'm not gonna return mine or anything. Think I'll keep for maybe another simpler use, and go back to a corded one or something. ... show more

  • Works But Difficult To Use
Works as advertised, but I will be saving up for an actual full sized wireless keyboard. The right side shift key is over too far to the right and is much smaller than a standard shift key. I keep hitting the \ when I mean to hit the shift. Very irritating to have to keep looking at the keyboard when I actually do know how to type. I do like how the keys work and feel so I'm disappointed in this one feature. Perhaps with time I can get used to it. ... show more

  • Lacks standard keyboard light idicators
Felt nice but kept locking the Caps & couldn't tell as there's no indicators for any of the lock keys. Had startup issues too as system doesn't see wireless keyboard initially.

  • I don't use for games, it works great with no problems
