  • Good carbide tipped saw blade, especially for the price
Style: 10" 40T-1Pack
I worked in various shops for over 50 years, and for the last 41 of them, owned the shop. We did precision prototyping, models, and several other niche, but always precision, types of jobs. During all those years, I watched circular saw blades evolve, from all steel blades, then to carbide tipped blades, and then blades began to get very specialized cooling and expansion slots cut into them. The first "finish" blade I bought, all steel, was not offset teeth, but had a thinning of the entire blade toward the center hole. We had a saw sharpener come in every week to pick up the blades; he'd return next week with them ready for more work. When we switched to carbide tipped blades, they lasted far longer between sharpening. Since we cut so many different materials, mainly plastics and non-ferrous metals, along with hardwoods, etc., we had many different blade types. This is a good, simple blade. 40 teeth on a 10 inch saw is perfect for ripping, decent for most crosscuts. I tested this in both soft and hardwood, and it cuts fine. There was very slight tearout cross cutting plywood—I'd have been amazed if there wasn't. The alternate bevel set that this blade has is the most typical for a wood blade. On hardwood crosscuts, there was no tarot, but the cut, while smooth, was not super smooth—again, I'd want more of an 80 tooth blade for that. The arbor hole is tight, but it fit without issue, and as long as it fits, I'd prefer a tight over a loose arbor hole. Especially for the price this is a very good saw blade. Some of the blades we'd use cost 20 times what this blade cost. ... show more

  • Purchased as a multi-purpose blade for my Ryobi 18v sliding mitre saw - good choice!
Style: 10" 40T-1Pack
This blade came well packed and is solidly manufactured. The 40T blade is good for general purpose cross cuts and there was minimal splintering cutting 2x4's for a wall. This blade is a good value and on par with similar blades from HF.

  • So far so good
Style: 10" 40T-1Pack
Needed a new blade for my chop saw and got this one just in time to start a decking project. I've used it for three days so far cutting 1x6 deck boards and it has given me a good clean cut on every board. I've probably made several hundred cuts with it and it's still as sharp as when I got it. Can't judge durability and longevity just yet but it looks like it's going to be a winner. ... show more

  • Totally exceeded my expectations (at a yesteryear price).
Style: 10" 40T-1Pack
A new saw blade is wonderful and makes cutting, and ripping wood, enjoyable. This performs as a saw blade should, with a nice smooth cut in the various test woods I tried. . Priced at ten bills (lower than cheap metal circular saw blades at a local discount store), this carbide tipped blade is an outstanding value with a build that feels solid and a cut that is precise. I am definitely going to get additional blades at this price. too bad they do not offer just a single 60 tooth blade. . The saw blade Kerf is also reasonable, with a cut width of just 2.7 to 2.8mm (.11 inches) and, as mentioned, is very smooth with no splintering. While I have only used it on my compound miter saw (to test) I am looking forward to using it on my table saw which is its final destination. . As an aside, which in no way affects its functionality, the manufacturer labeling on the blade is on the opposite side from every blade I have owned so, just pay attention to the teeth and the rotation when installing. ... show more

  • Makes Your Wood Cutting Easier
Style: 10" 40T-1Pack
I like this blade! It is very sharp. I have used quite a few blades in my shop and when I put on a new blade, I check the feel of the blade this one is super sharp. So far when cutting with this blade it cuts my wood like it is soft butter. It cuts with the grain and across grain nicely I would recommend this blade and you can afford new blades when the price is this good. Easily worth the money. ... show more

  • Decent combination blade - 1/24" kerf and 75 thou steel plate
Style: 10" 40T-1Pack
Seems to be very balanced and the sheet steel is 75 thousands, the teeth are ATB and about 100 thousands or 1/24" kerf, so this would be a extra thin kerf blade. Rips decently well on my 3 HP table saw, did not try crosscutting veneer plywood - that would be the test for a combination blade. Will update as I throw more things at it. ... show more
