  • pump working great so far
Model: 10912
put into a e85 modded grand prix as a replacement since my $140-dollar aem pump died in 3 years. this one not only fit much better but sounds better too and if it lasts 2 years then that's a much better deal and i can even warrenty it out. im not sure how well it fits an application it was meant for but i only needed to make a small adjustment on my canister to get it to fit but it was clear to me going in that the pump is not made for my car so no complaints from my end. ... show more

  • Great pump
Model: 10910
Pump was a perfect fit for my 93 Grand Marquis. The pump comes as a kit with strainers and hoses. Only issue I had was with the rubber hose, it was too short. Thankfully, I had extra in the shop. Installed pump 2 weeks ago, I'm getting a strong 42psi at the fuel rail. My previous pump was worn out letting me down with 29psi. ... show more

  • Works great, but had to slightly modify my RX300 bottom plate.
Model: 10910
First and foremost, assemble your whole unit gently if this is going into an in tank fuel level sender and pressure regulator all wrapped into one unit like I found myself doing in a 2000 Lexus rx300. There are some small tabs in the bottom of this pump that protruded farther than the thickness of the rubber cushion so I initially tried cramming it together and actually broke my new fuel filter. So to alleviate that I replaced the fuel filter and used a soldering iron to melt slots in my bottom cap to accommodate the pump and have it still held quite snugly, but not so tight as to break another new fuel filter. Works amazingly now. Being a 25% higher flow than my stock pump, I expected it to be slightly louder when running, and it is. Not excessively loud by any means. Similar to the sound of the stock fuel pump in my 2005 Jetta. Just a couple items I thought someone may appreciate knowing ahead of time, but it truly is exactly what I wanted despite my issues with my application and for functionality and performance I still gladly give it 5 stars. ... show more

  • Amperage?
Model: 10912
I was searching for a fuel pump to replace my 25+ year old Walbro 255. I initially found the Walbro pumps, but also saw this pump. I bought this one instead as the Walbro old design (read as 'not made in China') pumps are hard to get at a decent price. Even the ones made in China are way too expensive... I decided to "gamble" on this one. It is made in China, but at least the price was decent. Out of the box, It was a great looking pump. I was able to swap the pumps with very little effort. The old Walbro connector fits this pump and is polarized the same. Negative to negative and positive to positive. That made swapping really easy. I got all the connections done and ran the pump. It hit my goal of 52+PSI without engine running (Primed). It only dropped to 48PSI with engine running at WOT. It kept the fuel rail supplied and kept the engine happy. I went to test drive the car and the pump shut off after 1 mile. It had blown the 10A fuse. I felt the 25 year old fuse was on its way out anyway... I replaced the fuse and watched the new one. It got very hot after 5 miles, too hot to touch comfortably. The new fuse was about to cut the circuit after 10 miles; it was so hot I could not touch it without burning my fingers I guess this pump is not as direct a "fit" as I was lead to believe, circuit wise... This pump runs at more than 100Watts of energy. I stepped up the fuse to a 15A, as I am using 12Awg wire. Hopefully, this is a "break-in" thing. I really like the pump. It is a good value for the money. I can't say anything about longevity, yet. If it lasts half as long or as long as my old pump, I'll be ecstatic! ... show more

  • Not a easy fit!
Model: 10912
Convoluted tube was too small for fittings. Length of pump was too short for the can, so I had to add spacers for length. If you like trips to the auto store to buy additional parts then this is the part for you. Needs moderate modifications to work properly!

  • This pump is a beast!
Model: 10911
When this pump arrived, I was a little concerned. My system requires 60 PSI fuel pressure. Fortunately, it seems that the pump is able to self-regulate. These are definitely worth 5 star rating.

  • Pump died within first 100 miles, ordered a replacement.
Model: 10910
The first pump died less than 100 miles after installing it. Yes, it was installed correctly. There are also other issues with the pump regarding fit -- It's too long for my Hyundai Sonata so I had to switch out the old filter with the new one that came with the pump - but it didn't exactly fit that great either. Amazon sent me a free replacement pump, and I'll be changing it again when it arrives. I'll update the review to 4 stars if this one stay running, if not - it gets downgraded to 1 star across the board. It's still losing 1 star no matter what, as the pump being really too long is an issue. ... show more
