No, not Slip’n’Slide - SLICK and slide! The fibers on this rug were like a Cookie Monster costume - very soft, plush, and slick. If you need traction, this rug is the opposite. The photo makes the rug appear a darker blue and luxuriously thick. Well, the fibers are easily compacted, and although it is soft, it is not in any way a normal rug. It’s also Cookie Monster blue, royal blue, not navy blue. When I returned it, I had to assure the worker it wasn’t a Muppet-cide. The backing is also some kind of foam, so it is super lightweight and doesn’t feel like a rug at all. But, if you need a fluffy fix for a kid who wants to slide through their room on stocking feet, it’s not bad. ... show more

I love this rug. It’s really soft & yes it thin but I have 3 dogs that love to nap on it it , so it being on the thinner side is a plus so that I can always be able to throw it in the washing machine. I also put it in the dryer and the quality did not change!

The media could not be loaded. The rug is super soft. It did have a slight smell (like paint) after I opened it but it went away within a few hours. It fits nicely in my space and I would recommend. The quality it’s there and it’s super affordable!!
