It took me a while to figure out how to open the tubes of paint by flipping over the screw-on top and using to plastic point to pierce the metal seal. Great starter set with a great and sturdy easel. My son has been using this and loves it. Though he switched to acrylics paint because he was not experienced enough to use it yet. He uses everything in the set for his acrylic paint. Well worth it.

I got this for my niece who was wanting to try oils for the first time. Being an artist myself I wanted to give her something quality but not pricey Incase she decided she doesn't like the medium. The set is great, the paints are good quality and excellent starter supplies!

    • Good except for the brushes
The overall package is great for beginners and others, BUT, the brushes are very bad, they must be fluffed out with lots of dust coming out. When used the bristles come out with your oil. I had to buy new brushes just to get through one painting, small. Otherwise good.
