I love these shoes. They fit my toddler with a inch or so to grow. I sized up and it lasted my toddler all summer. It's winter now and I don't believe my toddler will be able to wear them next summer as they're fitting pretty perfectly now. We shall see. These shoes do get stinky and stained. I washed them in the washing machine and by hand and there are still stains and smells. Granted we didn't really have a smell problem until I put bug spray on them. I think that was a bad idea. We have a really terrible mosquito problem where we live. Just walking outside we get 10 bites at least. So I'm not sure how to have shoes with openings and not have mosquitos spray. Anyways I really thing the spray was the downfall. I used the essential oil spray. The color is about the same but it's dingy from dirt. I can't get it all off. I'm not sure why. It did hold up well with hand and machine washing. It's a very sturdy shoe that we used on hikes. I recommend these shoes but don't spray with bug spray. It's not a good combo with sweaty feet and you can never get rid of the smell. 🤢 i feel bad for my little one cause I'm pretty sure they smelled that stank everytime they wore the shoes. I bought these for my kindergartener as a warm weather shoe. They are great. Easy on/off, easy to clean, and look great. I will keep buying them as he grows. UPDATE: We're on year two of wearing these sandals and they are still holding up fine. Still easy to clean. Love them.

Right out the box i knew these were high quality, they smelled like coconut oil & just felt good. i did a lot of reasearch beforehand and bc these are cheaper on amazon than keen websites i was scared they would be knockoff, but they’re definitely legit. they’ve already seen multiple pool and beach days plus lots of muddy outside time and they’re still coming clean after every hand wash. i’m thinking of buying an adult pair to match :) high quality materials & no blisters or complaints of chubby lil feet hurting. ... show more

•2nd time purchasing for our child who has always had wide feet. •My child has sensitive feet and sensory issues and they love these sandals. •Relaxed fit-makes sure my child who needs wide has room to be comfortable. I wouldn’t call them wide though. I wouldn’t recommend if your child has narrow feet, because they could be too wide. •Washable-we just own one pair of sandals for the season and these are it! Dress them up/down easily. I don’t have to worry about them getting gross or dirty. •We chose this style over Crocs this year (although he can’t get these on by himself like crocs) for summer, they’re perfect for all summer activities. •True to size (US sized consistent with other major brands) •Water- no problem. These shoes can do it all. 10/10 would buy again for my son, I already have TWICE. **UPDATE: we ended up getting a pair of Crocs also for our child but they still choose these sandals over the crocs 100% of the time. I've had the same pair of Keen H2's for probably10 years. I have abused them and they are still extremely sturdy. The quality of construction and materials is impressive. While they are sandals, I considered them to be 3-season shoes when worn with socks. If the weather is dry I love wearing them with Merino wool socks in cold weather because they allow my feet to breath. They have comfortable insoles, good arch support and the wide, protected toe-box is highly effective at protecting both the shoe and the wearer. I am an adult male with small, wide, flat feet. I bought these because I am able to wear boys size 6 which is considerably less expensive than men's' sizes. I would say the quality of the boys shoe is comparable to men's but the length of the Velcro strap that secures the top of the tongue is nearly too short for my wider foot. This shouldn't be an issue for children with narrower feet. I can still wear them but now socks are out of the question. I have to say this style of Keens is one of the best value shoes I have ever purchased. ... show more

Took the little one on a camping trip and these worked out perfectly. It was warm and he was able to play in the stream and walk on the rocks. Toe box was roomy enough and we loved that they're washable. They took a bit of time to dry but when they did looked just like new.
